Chicken Over Bulgar taste amazing, I'm glad you have authentic Middle Eastern options as such, and not just chicken over fries or rice! Dish looks very presentable as well.
Great environment, friendly workers! Food was fantastic, very generous portion size.
This place is a gem! The chicken shawarma sandwich is packed with flavor—juicy, perfectly spiced, and wrapped in soft, warm bread. The mixed platter is generous and delicious. The staff is friendly, hardworking, and welcoming, creating a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend for great food and excellent service!
Beef kebab tasted terrible. I ordered two kebab plates and ended up throwing them out; I only ate the rice. Don't buy the kebabs.
I can’t believe what they send me if you guys can’t make something perfect then remove it from online because this is not even close to KUNAFA 🤦♂️🤦♂️ I really don’t recommend this restaurant.

Legitimately some of the best Mediterranean food in Syracuse. Best bowls. Always decent and quick service.

Right next to the Plaza Grande, since the map is a little off. Order and pay at the counter, then take a seat. The lady was friendly and the food was good.

Worst kunafa. I never had this type of kunafa ever. Other items are decent.

Arrived on a Wednesday evening at 10pm, and despite the late hour, received fantastic service from the front of house server. The food was delicious, well cooked, and seasoned.

It was amazing experience with this restaurant. Food was amazing, but service was even better. We need more restaurants like this all over the country. Thanks for everything.

We have been loyal customers for many years as a family. We had visited the W. Genessee location many times when it was under a different name and management. We are still coming to both Baghdad locations under Faris's ownership.
I always recommended Baghdad to my friends. Especially their Arabic Chicken Shawarma Saj plate.
❌After today's experience, no more recommendations!!
What happened today:
I've been ordering Beef Burger Combo for the last three weeks because it comes with a burger, fries, and a drink instead of ordering them separately. If I ordered separately, I would only order a burger and fries, but the combo price is a better deal and has a drink; therefore, I've been ordering that. And that's for my son. He doesn't eat the other options from their menu, and there are also a few other Halal options nearby, except at the Baghdad Restaurant. So I ordered two beef burger combos and one Arabic Chicken Shawarma Saj, and the combos had two drinks.
For the last two weeks, I picked yogurt drinks from their fridge, and the cashier allowed me to do so and didn't make any issues or ask for more money.
When I got to the store, I grabbed two yogurt drinks from the fridge and stopped by the cash register to pay. The cash register lady told me I couldn't get yogurt drinks. She said the combo comes with the soda, not with a yogurt drink, and I had to pick soda instead of a yogurt drink.
I told her what had been happening for the last two weeks, and she said the other cashier had made a mistake by allowing me to take the yogurt drink.
She also has yet to tell me the option to pay for the difference between a soda drink and a yogurt drink.
I asked her if I could talk to someone. A man came from the back (maybe the kitchen), and I pointed out the menu for the combo: a burger, fries, and a drink. I said it doesn't say soda; it just says drink. (The menu has no notes in small fonts or anything to say a drink means soda, and they have different kinds of drinks in their fridge.) He said yogurt drink is $3 vs soda is $2. I said that the menu should be changed to soda instead of drink, but then he got angry, took the menu, crumbled it, and asked me whether I had paid for the order. I said not yet, then he grabbed the bag and put it on the back counter, and told me, ?"Get the f### out of here" several times. Eventually, he said I could get it if I paid for the difference. If the order weren't for my son, I would leave the store for good and not return.
He told the lady to get a $2 difference per bottle while he was going back. I said why $2, it should be $1. With more anger, he came, took over the register, and did whatever he needed to add the difference; then, I could pay and leave.
▶ I was shocked to hear the man swearing at me, a customer, several times.
▶ It isn't professional not to honor what their menu states. That was another shocker.
?What a customer service!
?This was very disappointing for me who has been visiting the restaurant for a long time!

Absolutely fantastic, amazing complex flavors! Every piece of meat is cooked perfectly, every vegetable is either very fresh or beautifully cooked/pickled. And the service is top notch.
I've never been anything but extremely extremely satisfied when eating their food!
