Went to dine here and the board outside clearly stated restaurant should have been open and there was no one and one employee or owner was sitting outside smoking. If you have your hours posted as a business you should remain open during those hours in my opinion

Great atmosphere, dining inside or outside. Our party of 7 chose to be indoors for dinner on a Friday night. Appetizers were excellent, Garlic pizza and Fried Calamari. The bread was warm and paired great with some fresh oil seasoned with garlic and spices to dip in. Hannah was our server and she was fabulous. Her positive happy demeanor made the dining experience more fun for everyone. She checked on us repeatedly and dinner was paced at just the right time. Egglant was delicious. We appreciated her being able to take a few pictures of us at the table for a retirement dinner. Will return again .

Wow! A diamond in the rough! Was not expecting the first class service and atomsphere in a place off the beaten path. The breaded pork chops were on special and they were excellent! Our waitress was ready with doggy bags at the end of the meal (We stuffed ourselves and still had a sizable potion left) We are looking forward to another first class experience on our next trip to Syracuse.

Went with the family for dinner here tonight and it was a positive experience. I had read some of the other reviews and was a bit apprehensive but was pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly and nice and the food was pretty good. I had the garlic pizza for my entree and it was alright. My family had lots of the Italian food and enjoyed their meals. The place itself is okay looking but man the men's room was just dated and did not smell nice.

My family and myself have spent sooo many years coming to the basil leaf and we truly love it. It's a staple in this area and serves up some of the best atmosphere and vodka riggies I've ever had. I have basil cater most of my events and I always get complimented on the food!
