After I had already ordered and paid for my lunch, I stumbled upon the poor reviews on here and got nervous. I’m glad I stuck around! The lady at the register was very nice and my food was done within a few minutes. The portions were very generous - I got the sesame chicken lunch combo with the plumpest egg roll I’ve ever seen. I will frequent this place more often now.

Not the best Chinese I’ve ever had but not the worst. The sesame chicken was coated in sauce and was still fresh and crispy. The fried rice was a bit bland. The egg roll didn’t have much flavor but the crunch was prevalent. The pork steamed buns had good flavor but the appearance was a bit disappointing. The buns haphazardly lumped together while the pork inside was about the size of the meatball. When I heated up my leftovers the next day, the fried rice and steamed buns tasted old like they were going bad. Just something to be aware of if you eat here. You may not want to keep leftovers.

I have only ordered out but the food is great with very generous portions and they deliver all over the city it seems. The sesame chicken and general two are popular for a reason. And the chicken wings are good along with wonton soup. I've had the Mongolian beef but too heavy for me. Overall, great food.

Delicious food and really nice family that runs the restaurant. Don't let the appearance fool you, the food is great and amazing prices. I loved the wonton soup the most, you can tell the wontons were made in house. My picture was after we started eating a bit!

Going on reviews, and proving reviewers are unreliable if you like tasty food, my better half and I tried China Cafe last night. The food was ready on time, hot, and staff was nice. The food on the other hand lacked flavor, wasn’t spicy what so ever after ordering hottest level available for the Szechuan chicken, and all was the oiliest food we have ever had. The dumplings were literally floating in oil, with no dumpling sauce whatsoever. Oh, and the chicken lo mein was tasteless and also extremely oily, and the egg-rolls we fried in old and rancid tasting oil. They obviously need to change their fryer oil, not just add to it when low. We did like the white rice, but that’s it. If people actually like their food, we’re happy for them, but we don’t get it.

We will not be back, and will try to finish the food, and not toss it out. We remain grateful and will continue the search for quality tasty Chinese food in the Syracuse area.

They have General Tsos Tofu and vegetable dumplings. Two things I have been looking for, that also tastes good, for years. I really like this place. Not only is the tofu good but the people are friendly.

This used my favorite restaurant to order from until just a few minutes ago I called to place an order for delivery. After giving her my address and phone number I kindly ask her to please make sure my Singapore mei fun is made spicy because last time I ordered it wasn’t as spicy as usual & she hung up on me..I called back and she still gave me attitude. I will no longer be ordering food from China Cafe.

Our favorite Chinese resteraunt! I recommend dinning in as the food always looks better plated. Staff is friendly and willing to accommodate a lot of diets. Some fantastic vegetarian options. We prefer this place to the red chili.

Vegetarian options: Garlic eggplant is wonderful. For general tso's tofu and sesame tofu they make their tofu in a lot of styles.

Went here with my family for lunch, the food was absolutely amazing spot on authentic food. I was very impressed with the flavor, how fresh it was and the presentation. Service was great as well only downside was that our table we sat at was very dirty we wiped it down with some wipies and it was black. Overall a great experience and delicious food ? would highly recommend! I will most certainly be going back!
