Came in today and it was my second time being in here. Took me a long time to order because I didn’t know what I wanted but the cashier was very kind and patient. They had their eye on me to make sure they were ready to take my order when I was ready. Answered my questions well, they were out of some things I wanted but they were able to give me what I wanted. I usually tip after my food comes but with the customer service I received I tipped immediately. I waited and I received my sandwich and it was delicious. The way it was built was just right. I have worked in food service as a manager and I was satisfied with my visit here today:) thank you and keep up the good service. Came in with a good mood left in a better mood.
olives in veggie cream cheese is diabolical
One of the best bagels in Syracuse!
Consistently excellent breakfast and lunch sandwiches! The baked desserts are great, as well.

Tables and floors were filthy, including hair stuck to a table. Plenty of staff but no one was cleaning. Disappointing place to meet for a coffee. We left after 10 minutes because of the conditions.

A week ago I was at this place and I asked the very kind cashier which item would be fastest to get as I was in a hurry. She said it was a bagel with cream cheese. I was the ONLY one in the store and it took them 20 minutes to make it! Then when I left, I opened to see the bagel was missing cream cheese! The person knew I was in a hurry but the staff in the back seem ridiculously bad. There was no sorry, or anything when I returned. How can they mess this up so badly when someone says they are in a hurry? I don't mind the mistake, that happens. But it takes 20 minutes to cut a bagel into half without putting cream cheese and give it to a customer?

College student overload but was down the street getting tattooed so checked this place out for lunch. Parking can be difficult. This place is very busy and jam packed all the time. Always a line and a wait. Food was very delicious. The Reuben was amazing, they were nice to accommodate the sauerkraut on the side. Turkey Hill BLT was huge! Very tasty and they were very good to double check about the citrus allergy and remove the aioli sauce. Drip coffee was good. They give free stickers which i LOVE. Prices were decent and i would def return if ever in the area. Bottled water was only $2! Also got an oatmeal cookie and some bagel chips for later. The pizza bagel was also yummy and adding pepperoni is highly recommended.

I went to Collegetown Bagels for the first time last week and I really enjoyed it! They were PACKED, as you might expect on Marshall Street during the semester. But, the line moved really fast. While I waited for my order I counted close to 15 staff members, I love to see that. So many places hire as few people as they can and I think their service suffers for it, so I appreciate that they have a lot of staff to keep up with the business. I ordered the Power Plant, it's a vegan sandwich. It was very tasty. The price was very reasonable, I was particularly impressed with the price of their lattes and specialty coffees. I will go definitely go back!
I have been here three times this year and every time I go they look at me like they hate me and then get my order wrong. I will not be coming back.

Not recommended. This is not a good bagel spot for a few reasons.
1- the barista had absolutely no idea how to pull a proper espresso shot or steam milk. A true waste of a beautiful espresso machine.
2- the bagel did not taste good and the egg tasted and looked like Dunkin donuts eggs.
3- they got my order wrong but fixed it after I told them.

I’ve had the California sunrise on a Long Island bagel 3x already. It’s fire. Add tomato and hashbrown if you want it loaded! Delicious, fresh and made quickly every time. Thanks!
It took me 45 minutes to get a 2 dollar bagel. I got a text saying my order was ready 15 minutes before it was truly ready and ended up being late for my meetings. They forgot my order not just once but twice. I saw so many people walk by. This isn’t the first time I’ve been treated like this. Absolutely abysmal!

I've had several bad bagels from this place, and some good bagels, but this was the worst!! Its not toasted, its squished, there is hardly any cream cheese, and has almost no everything bagel seasoning- its mostly sesame seeds. Maybe because I used my rewards points and got it for free they decided they didnt need to try. Im glad I used my points though because I won't be coming back. The quality is so inconsistent and im so over being disappointed 60-70% of the time. rip schoolyard bagels you are missed :( maybe send the employees from the ithaca locations do to some quality control??

It’s easy to see why Collegetown Bagels is so busy. This location is situated on the Syracuse University campus. The food was very tasty and the order was correct. There was tons of flavor in the cheese melt, which was a spicy Italian bagel with mozzarella cheese on it. The Autumn Sky sandwich was good but I wish that the sourdough bread was fresher. In my opinion, the bread makes the sandwich. If the bread is not fresh, the whole sandwich is ruined. I enjoyed the sandwich with bacon, apples, brown mustard, and spinach. All was not completely lost on the bread because the other ingredients were fresh and flavorful.
I placed my order at 11:25 AM and wanted my order to be done by 12. Instead, my food was ready by 11:44. I decided to pick up the order early because I didn’t want my cheese melt to get soggy. I was quite disappointed with their timing of my order. If I couldn’t get to the restaurant until 12, I am sure that I would have had a different opinion on my cheese melt.
Overall I am impressed with Collegetown Bagels and I will try them again, maybe just not with an order to go if I order hot food.
