The freshest, tasty Italian bread in Central New York. This family-owned and operated company uses the same ovens it's founder instead decades ago, using the same original Italian bread recipes brought over from the old country. Loaves come in 3 types: long, round and flat. Flat loaves are per-scored for easy breaking-and-eating.
I've been buying Columbus Bakery breads for over 60 years. I've lived all over the country, but never found Italian bread anywhere that competes with Columbus Bakery's quality, freshness and taste.

I grew up with this bread and still visit it any time I'm in town. The warm flat bread never makes it home without a segment or two removed. I haven't had better Italian bread anywhere else (not in NYC, Boston or Italy). Highly recommend!

I stopped by today and it’s now 5 a loaf and the size of the pointed bread has shrunk I thought it was a mini loaf . Don’t mess up the one thing you can do well

Best fresh baked bread ever. You'll need to purchase 2 loaves. One loaf to take home and one loaf to eat in the car on the way home. It's that good.

Best product and staff. Love this place 💋
Old school bakery in the heart of Syracuse, my wife's family has been coming here for generations.
This place is awesome and old school. They still use a 1920s cash register, so no credit cards or debit, just cash. But the bread is exactly the same as it was 40 years ago. Nothing has changed, still looks the same inside . The breads are awesome.....

A classic. Been 50 years since I was last there. Hasn't changed a bit.
Best Italian bread in Syracuse.
Best bread in the town hands down
Over 100 year old bread maker, cash only, phenomenal bread! Shawn is informative and very pleasant! Best bread around! Worth a trip no matter where you live in Syracuse!
I've been eating Columbus Bajery bread (and other items over the decades) for 50 years.
Walk in to the store and you feel like youre in the old world kitchen. While it's nothing fancy, you only need to appreciate the work done there for our palate's pleasure. Don't cheat yourself - TREAT yourself to the best Italian bread in Syracuse.
