My party of 3 entered between 3 and 4pm. The restaurant was already busy and was about a 20 minute wait. That wasn't an issue at all. We were seated and handed the menus. The food we ordered came out hot and was very good. The main complaint was our server, Lisa B. We felt very rushed by her. Many times she came over to us and asked if we were ready to order, just to turn around and leave without waiting for a response. Her tone also had a bit of a "chip on the shoulder"...
I have enjoyed stopping at Dinosaur BBQ for years as I travel upstate. Every time I go through Syracuse I seem to find my way to its aromatic presence. Haven’t had a bad meal in the past 17 years of stopping here.. glad to see the original still going strong!

WORTH THE WAIT! Don't let the wait scare you! Very much worth the wait! The Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage changed my opinion about sausages. The Brisket with Jalapenos is succulent, tender, and falls apart in your mouth! The service was fast paced, efficient and friendly. I will definitely be Back! Photo Credit @mecs 23
