Last meal I’ll ever have with my grandfather was at this restaurant. I remember thinking at the time how enjoyable of a meal it was. I will always remember that.
This was one of the best places to eat in syracuse. The food was always outstanding. But from what I have been hearing from a number of other people. This restaurant is now permanently closed. This place has been here for as long as i have been here. Which is over 50 years. If this is true and it is now permanently closed we have lost a landmark and a great place to eat..
Best Chicken Riggies I ever ate in my life.
I grew up outside of WNY and started dating my now wife back in 2008. We met in the Buffalo area, but she was born and raised in Syracuse.During a weekend trip to CNY, she mentioned that I had to check out Dominick's RestaurantI mean I’m part Italian and LOVE a good steak so I just had to see what it was all about. From the moment I walked in, I feel in love. The old school “Italian cooking aroma” took me back to my Nona’s kitchen in WNY. The music was great and the decor was homey, quaint and inviting. That Hostess greeting us immediately and was very pleasant and welcoming. I got a sense of the Italian hospitality I grew up with.We were seated quickly as our server arrived and greeted us. Our drink orders place came very fast. To start we ordered the Calamari. I am always skeptical about ordering seafood in a place that isn’t adjacent to the ocean. I’ve had many bad tasting experiences, but NO HERE. The calamari was delicious, perfectly done the way it should be.We also enjoyed and order of the Bruschetta. For my entree, I ordered Chicken Parmigiana . It was moist, tender and perfectly seasoned. The pastas were a touch over Al dente, which is where I like it and the sauce was a nice balance of sweet and tang.It was all so delicious but the dessert was amazing. A chocolate type cheesecake with the name Dominick’s written in frosting on each piece. Very fancy and impressive.
I have been going to Dominick's since they opened in 1980. Chichi a long time waitress was the best ever. I will miss this place
Its italian food which isn't my favorite but it wasn't the best I've ever had either. It was a little fancy but you can walk in with normal clothing and everything else. It was pretty good, you can tell a lot is made in house.
The food was Fabulous, and the male Waiter was so good. It was a Great dinner. Would highly recommend going there to anyone
Fantastic deal with giant pizza and 10 wings for 22$. I won't need to eat again for 2 days
Real nice dinner. Broccoli/mushroom alfredo and Chuck had baked ziti with meatballs big portions and our favorite bartender/waitress Julie!
I’ve eaten here many time being a native to Syracuse. I recently went in with my mother to enjoy dinner. I understand there is a wait due to covid, BUT no one acknowledged us to let us know they were going to seat us. We waited a decent amount of time until we left, as we were leaving a employee proceeds to say “ have a good day”. I don’t know if she didn’t see us or not but to only be spoken too once you leave an establishment is unprofessional. I don’t feel comfortable coming back

Italian food with fast and friendly service. In the mood for dessert? Everyday they make fresh, homemade pies. Cookies and cakes. And don't forget the cannoli's!
The portions are large, but the food is below average. It always amazes me why so many people eat here. I ordered an Italian sampler and all the pasta tasted frozen and store bought. It was expensive as well. Not a fan. There are at least a dozen better Italian joints in Syracuse.
Decent Italian dinner, extensive menu. They have deserts you can buy at the end of dinner for takehome, pies, cakes, cookies. Definitely was much better service and quality of food back in the 1990's
always great food and service
Great place,
