Sloooow service. Bartender was great and trying his best but was overwhelmed and wasn't receiving much help. With multiple other bars it's shocking that you are waiting for one man to make and pour a whole bars worth of drinks.

Sarah and Andrew were amazing. I’m new to the area from NYC and have been searching for a place in this college town with a grown up vibe. The music, service, drinks and conversation was A+++. The food was just ok but everything else more than made up for it. Will definitely be a frequent flyer here. Thanks guys.

The all gender bathroom at a bar is extremely inappropriate! You are allowing drunk grown men to go into the same bathroom as women! I will not be coming back here and advising everyone else to stay away!

Checked out the Emerald cocktail kitchen after the shamrock run race and had a drink and a bar bite! Drinks are really good! I had the honey nut cheerio martini and he had the Bryant irish coffee. It's a cozy atmosphere the bar tender was friendly. Will come back again in summer when the roof top bar is open!

I could go on and on about how thankful I am for the staff and management at Emerald Cocktail Kitchen for providing a beautiful venue and the sweetest customer service for my micro wedding! The venue is gorgeous and the staff were incredibly accommodating. The FOOD was phenomenal! They even added in a grazing station with Colombian-inspired cuisine that my husband was so thrilled with. Thank you to Maddi (the events manager), the chef, and the ENTIRE rest of the staff. We can’t wait to go back! 10/10 highly recommend!

Had a nice experience, and really enjoyed sitting outside on the rooftop deck. They have some vegan options which is great. They did not have mushrooms for the charcuterie board, it was ok but it was mostly carbs. They could add a vegan cheese and other pickles. The house made smash burger had excellent flavor but was very mushy. Kind of pricy for the experience. All in all it's good and I think they are going in the right direction, but there is room for improvement. Updated from previous review on 2023-10-07

Vegan options clearly listed on menu but staff knowledge clearly doesn't align so I'm not sure if other people are actually eating vegan food when going here. We ordered the vegan Flatbread, no substitutions or anything just straight up ordered it as listed on the menu and my husband was given a ham covered , dairy cheese Naan Flatbread. When I sent it back, they told me they mixed up because we ordered the vegan Flatbread and the Flatbread Naan isn't vegan. It's literally on the vegan menu. I got the burger. It's marketed as a vegan smash burger but was definitely just a regular frozen burger with mushrooms on it. Doesnt come with fries, had a bag of baked lays. It was fine, definitely not worth the price and I had to split it with my husband since we couldn't get a replacement Flatbread. Drinks were okay, but for a Saturday evening the bartender was alone and she was maybe not experienced so aside from the messed up food getting drinsk required standing in line and waiting a long time for a drink.. Overall I don't think I'd go back for the food at all again without knowing changes were made, I'd maybe go back for drinks but only on the rooftop for the aesthetic and I'd order 2 drinks at a time.

Cheers to Emerald for having some of the best events/business collaborations in Syracuse!! Tonight I attended Emerald x Golden Bee Bookshop's Banned Book Club and had a BLAST!! Drinks were amazing (so picture-worthy), and we got to enjoy the beautiful ambiance of the second level meeting room. I love that Emerald has created a comfortable space for all with gender-neutral bathrooms available. Thanks for an incredible night. You're missing out if you don't come here!!

Went here for an event with rightmind syracuse hosted by Claire and Eliza, mocktails for mental health. What an AMAZING event. This was my first time being out there. Great space upstairs. Eliza and Claire were so amazing. Comfortable, fun, easy paced. Just an overall great experience. I was able to get some food and order a spirit free bevy from the kind bartender downstairs, i did not catch her name. I hope emerald hosts again. The gluten free options on the menu were great for me. I have to keep to an anti inflammatory diet and live an AF lifestyle. Can't wait to go back!

We decided to check out brunch at emerald cocktail kitchen, a new thing! I had never been to this place but had heard such good things about the atmosphere and the cocktails! I was worried about parking, but when we arrived at 1pm, there was plenty. When you walk in, the vibe is super chill and very beautiful. The huge thing that drew us in was the Build Your Own Bloody Mary Bar, with specifically a picture of a slim Jim as a topping option. We were so excited for that! First of all, the little seating area at the bar is not full service so just know that going in. We appeared to be a huge inconvenience to the bartender, which was a bit offputting. When we went up to the bar to build our drink, the mix to start with is chunky and tasty- kind of spicy on its own. There were different hot sauces, cheeses, pickles, and bacon (though really needed to be crispy, not flabby). To our disappointment, there was not a single slim Jim to be seen. The idea of stirring our drink with a slim Jim really just made us come to this place.... Disappointed. The drink itself ended up being delicious! For all 3 of us, we got 3 different types of liquors to test them. Yum! Moving onto our food, however... The menu sounds amazing! Another reason we went. However, it took a very long time for our food to come out. When it did finally arrive, the potatoes were cold on all of our plates, the poached eggs on the Benedict were literally hard boiled, the ham on 2 of the sandwiches had gone rancid and had an off-smell and they didn't finish their meals. My burger was fine and the egg perfectly custardy, but the sausage was strange on it and the burger wasn't smashed, it was a frozen patty that appeared to be cooked in a microwave. The potatoes were doused in what looked to have been Italian seasoning but had zero salt and pepper. When our food arrived, we were asked if we needed anything else... I asked for salt and pepper. Waited... Waited .. food got even more cold... we thought maybe they didn't have salt and pepper shakers. Then, the waiter started bussing other tables. Clearly he wasn't coming, so my friend got up and asked the bar. Unfortunately no amount of salt can help cold, dead potatoes. I am ranking this a 3 stars because the drinks were good, and the space is absolutely beautiful.
