Amazing experience overall! I was able to speak directly to the owner and she was very polite. The food is very well seasoned with fresh ingredients! The only recommendation or thing that I would change, is the vegetarian patty. I did not like that it was made with a different breading I would also prefer the filling to be the same curry flavoring. Still an amazing experience overall and will return

I ordered curry chicken roti. The worst roti i ever had , roti was burned .Also the inside salty and soupy. Needless to say I'll never get roti from them again. Sometimes it's better to turn a customer away if you really don't know what you are doing.

Food is delicious and staff is kind but I think they should be more specific about their business hours. They NEVER answer the phone when trying to place an order, sometimes I even stop by after calling and getting no answer to them being closed.

Recommended dishes: Rasta Pasta
The Rasta Pasta is like 3 cuisines in one great dish. It's like mac n cheese meets barbecue meets carribian spice. I would definitely order it again. As I was waiting I noticed how good all the other food looked as people picked up their orders. The app was easy to use as well.

I had the pleasure of dining at Erma’s Island, and I was truly impressed. The food was not only bursting with authentic flavor but also thoughtfully prepared with health and balance in mind. It’s rare to find a place where you can enjoy rich, flavorful dishes without feeling weighed down afterward. As someone who’s mindful about how food affects my body, I appreciated every bite.
I’ve ordered the Curry Chicken twice now—it’s that good. Perfectly seasoned, comforting, and deeply satisfying. You can genuinely taste the love and pride that goes into every dish. Erma’s Island is a true gem, and I’ll absolutely be returning—and recommending it to everyone I know!

Got Sunday brunch here, the jerk chicken & waffles and the oxtail & grits was one of the best meals I’ve had in Syracuse, and this city has good food. Great portions too and they were real friendly. HIGHLY recommend

This was hands down some of the best food I've had in Syracuse. The jerk chicken and waffles paired together perfectly, and each part could easily stand on its own. The Oxtail and Grits was also beyond amazing and was another perfect pairing. If you come to Syracuse, you HAVE to come and try the food here, and if you're in Salt City market and you don't get food here, you're missing out. I will be coming back and bringing as many people as I can
