It does indeed look like a trailer next to a tarson pool and spa, but that's how you know. This place needs more attention, chicken curry was fukin fantastic

Amazing fusion place. They have very good quality food and it comes in good quantity size. The food is always warm and fresh. Momos and noodles are my go too.

Excellent food, little gem in Syracuse. Highly recommend, for the authentic Nepali dishes. Husband loves the momos. I do too, also the chili chicken and curry. Nice family owned, please support this establishment and give them a try!

Yum! This place is a gem! It's next to Tarson Pools on Taft Road, very unassuming building. We've ordered twice for pick up and both times were impressed! The beef tikka masala was so flavorful, even our mostly vegetarian daughter loved it. Shrimp Biryani was excellent, smokey and perfectly seasoned. It was a huge portion but my husband could not stop eating it! Dal Bhat vegetarian was a generous portion of the vegetable side dish (seasoned potatoes and vegetables), lentil soup, the fried cottage cheese with peppers and onion was spicy but still had a ton of flavor. The raita helped cool it down and added another layer of deliciousness. Can't wait to try everything!

Just went there for lunch with a friend. We both ordered the Shrimp Soup. It was excellent. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masalla= very good. My friend ordered the Pork Momos= very good. Ate in and the server was attentive and did a great job. Not really much of a dining room, but it worked. Will definitely be going back.

Absolutely fantastic and delicious food; very reasonable prices. It is always prepared and packaged well for take out, and they make the visit pleasant and welcoming. I don't eat out often, but will be making this place an exception to that now that I've discovered them. My friends that have spent time in Nepal also had rave reviews for the authentic flavors and quality.

One of the only Himalayan restaurant in central New York and I was very excited to try this place. The food was descent but could be better. I know what a good momo and chow mein taste. Hopefully they will improve!

This is my second time trying Everest Kitchen and I am impressed! It's a typical takeout/delivery restaurant and didn't look like much when I was driving past it but the word "Nepalese" caught my eye. First in Syracuse! Their menu is combination of Nepalese and Indian food. I have tried their chicken/dal bhaat, egg manchurian and steamed chicken momos. I was most excited about the momos- street style dumplings from Nepal/Tibet. They did not disappoint, the chicken was juicy and the jhol(sauce) with it was delicious. The egg manchurian was prepared very well and as spicy as I wanted and reminded me of the street cart noodles back in India. Their dal bhaat chicken is just the warm homemade comfort food you need in the winters here. The chicken curry comes with a side of vegetarian dish, dal (lentil soup), rice and pickle. The portions are super generous and both the times I ordered I was able to have 2 meals out of them. I hope to try other things from their menu especially the chillis. This restaurant is a great addition to the Syracuse food scene and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for simple but flavorful food.

Amazing food and customer service! I have tried every Indian restaurant in the Syracuse area and by far this is the best one. This will be my go to Indian restaurant from now on.

Ordered from them for the 1st time and the food was delicious. I especially loved the veggie momos. I will definitely order from them again.

Often, I eat at a restaurant and let some time pass before I finally get around to writing a review. This is not one of those times. I enjoyed my meal so much that I didn't want to delay sharing the love by a single day. Full disclosure: I was running short on time and ordered delivery. After digging into my dishes, I can't wait to visit the actual restaurant. I ordered the Dal Bhat vegetarian, described as "A complete Nepalese meal with Basmati rice, fried cottage cheese, vegetarian side dish, lentil soup and pickle." Firstly, the portions are super generous. There was more than enough food despite the fact that I was taking a late lunch and was semi-ravenous. Even after gorging, I had leftovers. The "fried cottage cheese" is some kind of paneer dish with peppers and other vegetables, and it was delectable. The sauce was thick and flavorful, and the paneer was the perfect consistency between firm and soft. The vegetable was a spiced cauliflower and potato. There was a massive dish of rice, and a lentil soup that I tasted briefly but honestly, didn't eat yet because I was too stuffed. Also, really love that they included a pickle because it's a condiment that really adds extra umph to South Asian dishes. I also got the steamed vegetable momos, and those did not disappoint. Each was filled with veggies and I think more paneer, and they were the perfect bite-sized treat. Sometimes when I order the steamed version of dumpling-like dishes I regret it and wish I'd gone for fried, but these were excellent. I decided to order from here on a last minute whim and I am so glad I did. My lunch was awesome and I'm so, so excited about finding this restaurant. I don't know that I've ever actually eaten Nepalese food before, but the cuisine has a lot in common with Indian, which I eat a good deal thanks to my partner. I'd definitely recommend Everest Kitchen to anyone looking for adventurous eats, or just anyone looking for a delicious and comforting meal (which we could definitely all use this chilly time of year especially!) Fingers crossed more folks discover this gem soon and that this place sticks around for a while, because I'm already stoked thinking about my next visit!

Very please to have such great takeout nearby. High quality food. Tastes much more like home cooked food rather than your typical takeout. The momos dumplings are amazing.
