I’ve greatly enjoyed all the goodies I’ve had from this place. Also, in my opinion Megan makes the best vegan frosting around. You can find their treats at several coffee shops, and many local events. Ordering and pickup is easy too.

We ordered a small number of maple cream cupcakes and GF chocolate chip cookies for our wedding guests with dietary concerns and it was a huge hit! Our vegan and GF guests were so impressed with both taste and decoration, and our non-vegan guests couldn’t even tell the difference. The Fatcat desserts fit right in with our other desserts and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. Megan was so helpful and prompt with her responses, and took extra precautions to ensure our guests with severe nut allergies could enjoy a sweet treat. Pickup was also a breeze despite the downtown construction. Thanks for everything, Megan!

Fatcat Baking makes some of the best vegan desserts in Syracuse. They don't have a store front, but you can buy their products at Strong Hearts, Salt City Coffee, and several other places (their website lists their wholesale locations). I also appreciate how their sugar isn't refined with bone char. Even if you're not vegan, you won't regret trying their food.

I won a raffle box from Fat Cat Baking at Manlius Pride and oh my GOSH absolutely unbelievably good. There was a cup of crushed up cookie and frosting and I savored that! I also particularly loved the pastry that resembled a pop tart (but I don't want to say that, because calling this sweet treat a pop tart is an insult to how amazing it was)!!! The skill of the bakers is absolutely evident -- I've had my fair share of vegan pastries and Fat Cat absolutely nails it. I highly recommend it and will certainly seek this bakery out again!!

I placed a custom birthday cupcake order for pickup (within 48 hours!) and Megan was extremely helpful and friendly in going over my options and what they would be able to accommodate in such a short timeframe! The cupcakes turned out AMAZING both aesthetically and deliciously — anyone who had a bite commented on how soft and flavorful the buttercream frosting was! I highly recommend this small owner business, ordering online was extremely easy and if you have any questions, Megan was available to answer questions over the phone. My only regret was not ordering more, but definitely will be coming here for birthday cakes & treats in the future!

I wish I could give more stars! We ordered a mermaid themed smash cake and 30 cupcakes for my daughter’s 8th birthday. It was all perfectly decorated, reasonably priced and Megan was so great about accommodating my youngest daughter’s many food allergies/answering all my questions. I wanted to get a cake for my birthday, something special, and Fatcat Baking absolutely nailed it!! it was beautiful and delicious! I'm so glad I got a slightly larger cake so I'll have tastes for a few days!!
Ordered a vegan funfetti cake for a friend's birthday, and I had an absolutely wonderful experience. Megan was very accommodating for a peanut allergy, and very friendly to talk with during ordering and pickup. The cake looked and tasted delicious, and we were so happy everyone was able to eat it regardless of their dietary restrictions. When I'm in Syracuse again, I will definitely be ordering from Fatcat Baking again!

Fatcat Baking is awesome! The owners Megan and Alex are the sweetest people you could ever meet. All of their baked goods are 5 star and vegan. I first tried them at the CNY Regional Market in Syracuse this summer. They will be there every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month through October. You can also place orders online from them on their website at anytime. I have had their pretzels, whoopie pies, scones, carrot cake and cupcakes, brownies, babka, energy balls and everything was superb! I can't get enough of her carrot cake. The best carrot cake I ever had! Megan ranks up there with the top bakers in the country. She is that talented. Even if you are not vegan you will love her baked goods. You would not be able to tell they are vegan. The cakes, cupcakes and whoopie pies are so moist and delicious. Check them out in the F shed at the market or visit them online and order something. You will not be disappointed!
