We were looking for a fish monger for the freshest fish for Christmas eve 7 fishes stew. Lobster tails, squid, scallops (omg they were FRESH) oysters, halibut, shrimp and a nice bag of clams. All with friendly service, great prices and the meal was a hit! We'll be back for a fry up soon...

poor customer service, a customer was fat shamed for how much for their FRIEND ordered. made comments in a different language so she couldn’t understand as well as sharing laughs and looks. she doesn’t even like seafood, she was there accompanying her friend. absolutely disgusting behavior.

I was kind of disappointed i have been wanting to try this place for awhile came down from over an hour away and we did not even get real tartar sauce, the food was very blah. Got the fish and fries.

You get big bang for your buck here. Fish sandwich with medium fries and potato salad for $17 is pretty good deal. Ordering there confusing for someone who doesn’t go regularly. You have to order one place for the fish and another if you want fries.

I have been going to the Fish Cove in Solvay since I was a young man. I have personally traveled all over this Country and have never had such a wonderful seafood experience. Growing up in an Italian village with Italian traditions, the Cove was especially critical at holiday times. The owners obtain the freshest fish anywhere and make all their own salads up in house. All’s I can say you really have a treasure in the Syracuse area. Along with the Cove being from a long line of family members, our enjoyment of this establishment has gone down through our family as well. A fancy dining experience you will not find, but the best and freshest fish you ever had, you will! Be so very grateful that this establishment still resides in the village of Solvay, I am!!!
