The worst experience, food and rude staff! We ordered 6 waffles, 2 of them were wrong. Told the guy in the front the only thing he said was that’s what you ordered. Told him no but we will take them as they are because we were waiting for our food almost an hour and we have kids. He told us no put that plate down and took it and tossed it away and told us go back in the line if you want to order something else. We paid for 6 and got 4 of them. Unfortunately for us our receipt was thrown away by the kids and ended up splitting what we had and left. Never going back again. We were treated with disrespect and no attention on fixing it.

Good Lord that was some good food!! We had 2 savory waffles (the bootsy brunch, and a special bulgogi pulled pork). They were both fantastic. The people that worked were also very friendly. If we're ever in Syracuse again, well definitely go back.

Painfully slow service but delicious food. I ordered my food, went back to retrieve it and there were missing items. The skinny tall hipster barista got snappy when I had to return my bev due to flat prosecco. I was missing a coffee beverage as well and he yelled that it was sitting for 10 minutes to which I responded, so was I. Food arrived before drinks, you serve yourself and bus your own table. Staff that gets hourly and tips are ridiculously entitled. Get some servers. I walked around more that one single staff member here, got yelled at and tipped on a counter order. This place is not what I was hoping for a relaxing breakfast. And after 20 minutes, the prosecco was still flat.

Duuuude !! What happened? I loved romping in on a Saturday morning. Usually the early bird before I take on my day. But I gotta tell you it’s now my third time here and the portions are smaller. Nothing you have here is made in China so why would you cut the portions and use cheap milk process. The waffles are hard or spongy now and they used to be crispy. What happened? Super cute laid back vibes. You seat yourself, order at the front and pick your food up when your buzzer alerts you. I got a pulled pork omelet it was delightful 😊
Bar with great waffle fries and excellent music. So, yeah, more of a music venue than restaurant for sure.

My nephew is going to Syracuse for university and we took him to Funk 'n Waffles for breakfast. We were not disappointed. They have savory and sweet options, prices are fair, and the food is wonderful. Everything we ordered was wonderful. You order at the counter and bring your own food to the table when the buzzer they give you goes off. The food was ready for five of us in under ten minutes! I got the chicken and waffles and it was incredible. Highly recommend a visit.
