The staff and food were both amazing. Showed up too early and missed entertainment is the only downside.Plan on trying to squeeze in another visit before we leave town.

5 stars is a lot for a counter order clear your own table breakfast spot, but this one deserves it all. The music funky all the way, the art also super funk, the waffles pure fire! The three of us had a banana Nutella waffle (full) , a banana bread waffle with blueberries & walnuts 1/2 waffle, a vegan egg & cheese sandwich, and a full chicken & waffle with real maple syrup. My husband was super skeptical but left with a super happy belly. My kiddo was happy, and this mama loved it all so much. We walked in and didn't know to go to side two to get in line to order (menus on the counter at the front of the line) you grab your own table silverware, napkins and get a little buzzer for when your food is ready. You clear your own table at the end and again I can't say how good the flavor profiles were for all of our choices. Bonus there were tons of vegan options and the prices were very reasonable and you can even get two 1/2s of different waffles so go sweet on 1 savory on the other = best of both funkadelic worlds

The food was delicious! Service? 2 of 10. I will save you the long drawn out story and say this: I paid $100 to seat myself, place my own order, pick up my own fix, my own order from the kitchen, grab my own napkins, silverware, water/other drinks; THEN clean up my own dishes and wipe my own table. I'm good. I paid them to watch me do their jobs. Why do you need 25 house staff? I did all the work?!? Never again. THEY WEREN'T EVEN HOSPITABLE. Just present bodies in the space to remind you where to put your own dishes. Y'all can keep that foolishness.

Met with my Aunt in Syracuse and decided to meet here. My Aunt & I had the chicken parm waffles--spaghetti in the shape of a waffle topped with marinara sauce and fried chicken tenders and melted cheese. Sounds like an odd combination when you think of a waffle, but it's spaghetti!! It was delicious! The chicken was hot and seasoned nicely and the sauce was not heavy on the garlic. Hubby had the Monte Cristo waffle and made it disappear! Diner like setting where you order at the counter and pick up when your buzzer goes off. This is in downtown Syracuse by Clinton Square. We were there at lunch at 11:30 and stayed until 2:00 or so visiting, and there was a steady crowd, but not overly busy. I highly recommend this place and hope to make a return visit in the future

We flew into Syracuse, but checked Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives to find a place to eat that the kids would like and this place fit the bill. We had the Jive Turkey, the chicken parm, the James Brownie, the Monte Christo, the chicken and waffles, and the chocolate chip waffle. Everything was fantastic! Our only disappointment was that the monte Cristo was light on toppings. The house sauce was the best syrup I have ever had. I could drink that stuff! We may have to find an excuse to head into Syracuse again.

Very cozy place. Waffles are amazing and not awfully sweet as you might expect them to be with all the fancy toppings. They also have vegan options, would be awesome if they had a veggie version of chicken waffles but otherwise great experience and lovely staff.

i was here before monster Jam last year with my step family when step cousins step cousins uncle started yelling at the hobo playing guitar because he started dropping F bombs which my step family became very wait not very extremely enraged because it doesn't correspond with our religion. That brings me to my next point they had zero kosher options. Also I know why it's so slow it is because they only have a singular Aimes waffle maker from 1986.

Interesting and different takes on waffles, along with plenty of traditional options as well. Service is counter service, but always friendly and speedy staff.Vegetarian options: A majority of items are entirely vegetarian, and a few tasty vegan options as well.Kid-friendliness: Highchairs are readily available, decor is very kid friendly local art, and the menu is mostly waffles or various sorts.

Ordered online threw the website. A third party site stole my food. The man that answered was so rude. Basically said it isn't his problem I did ask for a manager. She was very nice and apologetic. She tried to help as much as she could. The third party refunded my money eventually and I did reorder and go pick up my food. I was missing the whipped cream on my waffle but the food was really really good. TIP: CALL DIRECTLY AND PICK UP. THE FOODS SO GOOD THE DELIVERY DRIVERS STOLE IT.
