Usually love this place but I tried to order my normal drink (hibiscus green tea add strawberry syrup) and they wouldn’t let me. Server was very rude and I will not be returning.

Only been here twice but love it. Chill atmosphere and the best boba I’ve ever had. Second time I dropped my drinks and they were nice enough to remake them without charging me. They didn’t have to do that and I felt so bad. But that alone earns them 5 stars, not even mentioning the amazing drinks, donuts and corn dogs. Thank you again ?

Not good, they didn't even have any bobas and it tasted like water+strawberry syrup for $8
Customer service was terrible with the skinny Asian girl with accent. She loves to argue with customers rather than help them.
Please go to Korea and teach them real customer service.
On top drinks are all overpriced like $8 a person and we walked out of store due to terrible service.
*The Indian girl and indian guys that work at store were more professional.
Dietary restrictions: Taste like crap.
Kid-friendliness: Rude to whole family I don't recommend it.

editing my initial 5 star review bc i went in literally 5 minutes ago and the girl refused to make my tea with almond milk and said i only got it that way last time because of a less experienced person. weird! won’t be going back.

I've never been to Gong cha, but I went today because of the FF14 promo. Service was great and workers were friendly. Not a fan of Bobba tea, but I really enjoy it this time.

I love Gong cha, hands down the best bubble tea franchise. Except this one.. the staff has no idea whats going on half the time . Theres one worker in particular whenever shes there I know i’m getting my ordered messed up. I almost always order 2 passionfruit green teas. More than once I have left just to find out that both the drinks are grapfruit. Its at the point that I check my drinks while i’m there to make sure she didn’t mess it up. I was just there today and again they were both grapefruit. I tasted it and can immediately tell so I let her know. She got very defensive and its almost like she doesn’t understand what im saying?? She fixed the drinks but was not happy to do so. Very unpleasant! I don’t know her name but she is of lighter complexion & not very tall. Everyone else is nice but this girl is clueless of whats going on always! I will probably be back because again , when the drink is right. It’s the best bubble tea chain. But unfortunately that worker is not pleasant at all

Sadly, I haven't been there in person yet, hoping to visit soon! I've ordered delivery many times and their corn dogs, mochi donuts and bubble tea always hit the spot! All the textures are so perfect and everything is so fresh!

As an Asian American who's lived in Syracuse for almost a decade, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Gong Cha had opened up shop here. It's a well-known international bubble tea chain, and having it right in Armory Square is a real treat. The location is ideal, right in the heart of downtown, making it a convenient spot to grab a drink while out and about. It's a nice addition to the area. The bubble tea here is pretty solid. They offer a variety of flavors, and you have the option to customize your drink, which is always a plus. The quality is consistent, and the tapioca pearls have just the right chewiness. It's nice to have a taste of something familiar, especially for those of us who grew up with these flavors. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially if you're not sure what to order. They're quick to offer suggestions without being pushy, which makes for a comfortable experience.Overall, Gong Cha is a nice spot to check out if you're in the mood for bubble tea. It's not over-the-top, just a good place to enjoy a drink in the city. Definitely worth a visit if you're around Armory Square. ??

Staff aren’t good with naturally making sure their customers are satisfied. The guy must have misunderstood what I wanted when ordering and made it wrong which was no problem until I tried to tell him it’s not what I was looking for. He said well that’s what u asked for. Very unnecessary when all he had to say was I can remake it which I had to ask. Other than the bad customer service the drinks were just not good the milk slush watery and very sweet and the MILK tea bland. I’ll stick to kung fu tea

Giving 5 stars over all despite my more detailed ratings. I went for a potato corn dog, and it was fresh and hit the spot.I have been hoping for a place that does the fried corn dogs with cheese/potato in this area for years. I was so pleased when I saw the little corn dog neon in the window. The food was tasty and fresh! The donuts were good when you get them but are not so great later as they sit out so plan to get what you can eat right then rather than saving them for a snack for later. There was a little confusion with my order but no they offered to fix it. Staff seemed a little distracted and not super friendly however I know openings are super stressful so I get it.Overall a great addition to downtown Syracuse in a shockingly good location. Wish I took some photos, I’ll do that next time when I visit and try some of the drinks!
This place is amazing!! Beautiful decor and cozy atmosphere. The staff are super nice and welcoming!
