Delicious Milk Boba Tea, the environment is adorable and the staff is friendly! As an added bonus they ARE participating in the Neopets Tea Party Pop Up!
This place does not even deserve 1 Star. I have had it with the awful service and this time i will never come back. I was there in there beginning days and supported both of the owners who are husband and wife. They have left this business to the employees and it has never been the same. The drinks you order are never correct and now they are disgusting. By the way, im writing this for my kids! A 5 and 7 year old that have much more to say but i dont got time for that. Ill be making the trip to the Mall for Bubble Tea from now !
I tried this place for the first time. Let me just say. It REALLY let me down. I was disgusted by the flavor. The pearls were icky and i can't even describe how they felt. I know they normally have a ball and chewy consistancy. However, these were not good at all. Only one of my drinks were fine, aka the honey lemon green tea. I got full honey (i didnt know it would be as sweet as it was) so that was on me. I diluted it with water tho so it was better. However the strawberry green tea one was HORRENDOUS. I got 50% sweet, wow. I feel like i got smacked with 1000. The pearls in the honey lemon one were fine but the ones in the strawberry were horrendous. I was excited because I'm not from here and I missed boba tea. This was a sad let down :((
Mid Boba. Terrible website interface with no way to cancel. Overpriced. No delivery options so you have to deal with the awful city traffic. Avoid.
A cute space to enjoy a hot or cold drink. Watch out for the icy sidewalk just before the entrance.
I love coming here! I drive two hours just for them. Associates are always wonderful and very helpful. You got a customer for life.
Friendly staff, clean environment, corner location in the heart of downtown Syracuse. Delicious tea options, I went with Mango Coconut today. Try it yourself 😋 (❤️the pic and review)
Super friendly and the s’more mochi donut is so good!
Recent reviews are on point. This place is a hit or miss now, doesn't matter whether we go in physically or whether we doordash it. Sometimes it's made well, sometimes it's made completely strange and not at all looking like it should. For example, most recently, if I pay for the dragonfruit, it should come with dragonfruit. Not this pasty, beige drink that cost me $12.
In store experiences varies too. You can walk in and be asked immediately what you want to order, and if you weren't ready, then be ready for the deathstare of a lifetime. Not sure what happened, but really disappointing.
Bad service. We asked for a passion fruit slush boba they always make it at other gong cha locations. But this one refused to make it. Idk why

My kids love the tea
The employees are friendly, and the food and drinks are excellent.
Gong Cha is really hit and miss.
In terms of authentic taste and quality. I think it is the best bubble tea in all of Syracuse. And I went out of my way to find all of them.
The problem is that often times the servers don't know anything other than how to make the tea. They don't know anything about the customer point redemption program. I tried to make an order and xl and I couldn't, and the serve didn't know why. I asked for descriptions of some of the menu and and they can't help me.
When there is an adult taking orders they are knowledge.
The drinks are also a bit overpriced. They also have a separate food operation running in the same space with completely separate customer trackers. So the coupons used for boba can't be used for a donut or corn dog. Which is aggravating.
I get a great drink every time I go in. But the experience is usually soured a bit by the surrounding factors
i went in a few days ago and i was immediately met with beggars inside, which isnt necessarily the stores fault because of the area but very off putting. the drinks taste watered down and the cashier charged me twice because the “system crashed”. i wont be returning
Not really sure how to describe this place… they were really good in the past but from my perspective the quality of their product and customer service has really gone down hill to the point where the last two times I came here I just used the kiosk in order to avoid the employees who seem disgruntled that they have to look up from their phones to actually do some work.
Even ordering from the kiosk, it takes anywhere from 5-10 mins before the girl that worked up front today to look up from her phone.
The drink itself was weak in flavor and honestly tasted like it had little to no Taro flavoring in it. The strawberry milk foam I added tasted like over whisked milk with a strawberry MAYBE dipped in it.
This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues here and honestly it’s depressing because it’s like the only place to get boba or bubble tea drinks anywhere in armory square.
Definetly will not be back here.
Save your money, drive to the other side of town and go to Tai Chi if you want to actually be taken care of as a consumer and have your order made properly.
