Jamaica Lick Finger Restaurant

We stopped in on 9/10/24. The food was great! The two owners behind the counters were wonderful and told us to stop in on Fridays when they have more from their menu available. The food does go fast! We were very lucky to get the last of the oxtail and curry chicken. It comes with rice, cabbage (which was soooo good) and plantains. We will definitely stop in again.

My first time in the restaurant. The wait time was short. The Jamaican food taste was average. I had Jamaican food with much more flavor. I would probably go again on a day that I'm in a mood for some on the go Jamaican food and try something different than brown stew chicken and cabbage and rice.

Vegetarian options: Cabbage, rice, plantains, cooler drinks, and beans.

Parking: Plenty of parking.

There is nothing that they make that isn't delicious. You'd better get there when they first open or they sell out of the oxtails. Five stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The stew chicken dish is delicious. But the owner only makes one pan of it and gives small portions of the chicken . I ordered the large portion for $18 and only received 3 little pieces of chicken the rest was bones .definitely not worth the money. very disappointed to say the least

Had the Oxtails with beans cabbage and rice. Food was Great!! I DO RECOMMEND YOU CALL AND PLACE YOUR ORDER BEFORE GOING, ACTUALLY YOU NEED TO CALL BEFORE THEY OPEN Ppl were waiting and a line was formed as soon as doors open and meals sold out

Literally a hit or miss with this place they are never open great food but service ia terrible. it's sad j*** hut is the only other jamaican spot get it together please

The oxtails are the best, hands down. No one can touch Gary's oxtails. They are cooked to perfection. You must call ahead and order. They sell out fast.

Food is excellent. Service/ customer service is terrible. They are not receptive to feedback. If you want to waste half a day for the possibility of getting food you ordered 4 hours ago to maybe have it sold to someone else go ahead and help yourself. Owner also plays favorites. I suggest you go downtown to Ermas in Salt City Market.

Over priced small portions I've had better Jamaican plates from a gas station than this place would not recommend

The food is the reason I am coming here. Good and full of flavors. The service can get better. Prices can’t get any better.

Great place, had curry chicken, plantains, rice and cabbage. Cabbage was best I've ever had, plantains were only I've ever had and great too!
