The burgers in this place tasted like hockey pucks. Lukewarm greasy fries and a bill for 80 bucks. I will never go back to this place. Very disappointing when taking your family out, and this is what we recieved.

We haven't been to Johnny Rockets in at least 5 years and we're excited when we saw this one in the mall. Took a little bit to be seated, not a big deal. Service was fast once we sat down. The food and prices were a disappointment. The burgers don't come with fries anymore so we had to purchase them separately. The brioche buns the burgers are put on now are dry. Even the kids sliders came on smaller brioche buns. The burger lacked flavor and the bun made it worse. The fries we paid an extra 5 bucks for were good though. This place used to be fun and pretty good back in the day, but it's not anymore. They don't have the mini jukeboxes at the tables anymore and no smiley ketchup faces. I'm not sure if it's all the locations or just this one but the new changes are a disappointment.

The burgers are as thin as a McDonalds burger but 4 times the price. Fries were warm at best. A $40+ meal for 2burgers,fries and a malt....no way was it worth it. There are places in the city here that have thicker burgers w/fries included, better service for the same or lower price. We will NOT go back or refer any of our friends.

Unfortunately this will be the last time I ever go back to Johnny rockets not only was the hamburger terrible and the bun was stale but the onion rings were overdone as well the only thing that was good out of that meal was the milkshake at $7, two people two hamburgers shared onion rings and two milkshakes almost $50 that's mind-blowing especially since I didn't enjoy that meal and the only thing good was the milkshake.,?

The big draw for us is that they actually offer gluten-free buns. Last time we visited they also had gluten-free bread, which allowed us to have any of the sandwiches we wanted, but this time they did not so we had to do burgers. The burgers were fine– just normal burgers really. Pretty sure they are using Udi buns which fall apart while you're trying to eat the burger. My recommendation is that they contract with Trader Joe's and use their hamburger buns. You cannot tell the difference between a Trader Joe's gluten-free hamburger bun and a regular bun. In fact, when I host a barbecue, my gluten friendly friends will choose the TJ gluten-free bun over a regular one. Also I think fries should come with it for the price of the burger. For two people, our bill (including a 20% tip for the excellent service) was $50.25 and all we got was two burgers, one side of fries that we shared, and two coffees.We also wish there was an all day breakfast option. The service could not be beat, though. Wish I could remember the name of our excellent waitress! The 1950s Diner ambience is fun.

I mean this is an OK place if you're at the mall and don't want to walk to the food court. I have a bad knee and sometimes i can't make it there. So me and my gorejous wife went to johnnys rocket in the Mall when we were christ mas (not sure you can say that word anymore) shopping and were seating pretty fast. The person who took our order was sweet, I didn't get their name because i broke my glasses after I stepped on them getting out of bed. I had the spicy texas houston double and my wife had 4 rocket chili dogs and we shared an chili bowl and milkshake. My wife said she started having bad gas after the 3rd rocket cili hot dog but I think it was probably the arbys we had for lunch. My Spicy austin texas burger was pretty good but I think it could have been cooked a little less it was dry like a dogs leg after you let it out in the sun. The milkshake we shared (peanud butter banana) was really thick and good but my wife has trouble using straws sometimes so I had to get a nother spoon for her to enjoy the panana butter milkshake. My wife said that besides the gas she was havving, the rocket chili hot dogs were good but could use some fresh onions. But thats just preference. Overall food was good but was room tempteratur like someone left the food outside the mall for 8 mintues. I would go back here if the food was warmer but overall not bad and my wife and i had a fun time and the atmosphere of the establishment left an imprint

The food was OK but for the high prices the portions were skimpy. For so few restaurants at destiny there were only 3 other tables full at 6:00 during Holiday shopping time. That's gotta tell you something :(

Very bad food. I ordered the bacon burger with onion rings. Burger was overcooked, dry, and flavorless. Cheese was hard. Onion rings greasy and cold. Service was friendly though.
