Heard about this new location and had to try it. We weren't disappointed. I ordered the special, lamb gyro with fries and Chris ordered the gyro bowl with chicken. Wish there was more of the toppings in the bowl instead of it being mostly rice. Otherwise, everything was fresh, hot and tasty. They were very busy, wish them the best. Hopefully, they maintain the service and quality we experienced today. Sorry, forgot to take pics!

Bottom line up front.... This is a solid option if you're hungry for Mediterranean. 5 Star Exceptional- no. BUT - yes to a very strong and solid 4 Star Good. Portions were LARGE, but it was not a quality compensating large volume, but simply a lot of a good thing. Neither my teenage son or I could finish our lunches. While my son was a little put off by the feta overload as it made his bowl a little salty, he did enjoy it. He was a little disappointed that the fries were part of the bowl instead of on the side. But, it didn't detour him from putting a hurting on the bowl. Mine gyro was tasty, but next time I'll make sure I order it without the fries on the inside. It was not bad nor did it negatively impact the gyro, but I was not expecting it. Perhaps I need to read the menu closer. Even with the fries on the inside of the gyro, it was one of the better gyros I've had in a long time. Yes to a Friends & Family Recommendation. Yes to a repeat visit in my future. We all like what we like. So enjoy life and experience your options.

King David's Fairmount is fantastic! I've had food from King David's in Fayetteville, which is excellent as well, and the food here is definitely on the same level. The service was just as good as the food. The person taking our order was pleasant and accommodating.If you are in the Fairmount area and in the mood for great food, King David's should without a doubt be a choice.

I have been here MANY times. I ordered a Kafta platter and the meat was SPOILED!!!!! It was about 7 pm that evening... I was shocked and disappointed when I got home 10 minutes from thereYou all should know about food safety regulations and guidelines, when preparing potentially hazardous foods! You would rather risk a customer's health and patronage to save a couple $$????Shame on you... I won't be back any time soon!!!!

WOW. Food was authentic, incredibly good, and very fairly priced. Service was kind and friendly. They even offered a generous military discount which is never expected but always appreciated.Our Server made sure we had what we needed but didn’t pester us, and the manager even stopped by to see how our food was. Very mom & pop family owned feel. Everyone seemed happy to be working there.My wife has Celiac and a dairy allergy. While they don’t currently have a separate GF menu (it’s in the works), they were able to give recommendations and tailor her order.They DO have a dedicated fryer so GF customers can enjoy fries and falafel as well.The Chwarma and Sweet Potato fries were killer. Hummus and falafel were also out of this world. The baklava was homemade and top notch. A+ I will be a repeat customer.
Love this restaurant! Consistently great food and quick service. Hummus is delicious—my wife says she could eat it everyday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Affordable prices.Parking: Plenty of parking right out front of store. In a small plaza. Getting in and out from West Genesee is tricky.

I would love to give this place more stars. The food is okay. I've tried the gyro or gyro platter many times, as well as from many other local places. The meat is always on the overcooked side. Probably a food safety thing? Not sure what the reasoning is. The falafels have a nice flavor to them. Sometimes overdone but not for me today at least. I was prompted to review today because I ordered a delivery and even though I ordered pita bread with both bowls (and paid the extra dollar on both of them), I did not receive pita bread. I also had banana peppers and pickles added to a build your own bowl for which I did not add those ingredients. The person I ordered for does not like spicy things and can't have seeds. That includes pickle seeds. I would have considered this place a 3.5 silently off reviews, but disappointment crept in and here I am.The food still tastes OK but the gyro meat is overcooked as usual and they got the ingredients in my build your own orders wrong on both bowls.

catering is amazing! I have used King David's more than a dozen times this year for large catering . just did one for 75 and felt compelled to write in since most people only take the time to write when it's negative. The food was incredible, tons of options , very fresh and still warm !! very professional and reasonable pricing . Blaine is great to work with ! they have never once been late and is ALWAYS a hit !

Stopped in for a few falafel bites and they were hot and crispy and ready in no more than 2 minutes. Staff was friendly. Tahini sauce was on point. Recommended.
