Had a irish out of town business guess that stayed downtown marriott. Because of the play at landmark the area was busy. Told him what a great place hoynes was and dave's history. Haven't been there in a year due to my wife's illness, we had our son's rehearsal party at hoynes $4,000 later a good time. I walked in without a reservation, my friend said he had to take a call he was outside and to meet him at the bar to get him a drink. Two deep at the bar, i tiurned around and said i should try to get a table went to had a guess from out of town, both of us very disappointed

It was one of the best meals that I've had in Syracuse since I've moved here from Iowa. My fiancée and I have been meaning to try it for a while and finally got the chance! The service was terrific, the drinks were great, and the food was phenomenal. It's definitely a restaurant that you should try if you are in the downtown area. Thank you for the wonderful time! It made for a great date night!
Fantastic food (Rueben egg rolls are a must) fish in chips : outstanding. Turkey sandwich? Solid 10/10 overall great place with kind service. Can’t wait to return

Kid friendly! We were searching for a restaurant to go to with our one year old son when in Syracuse for the night and got super lucky to find Kitty Hoyne’s. They were beyond accommodating - they were extremely friendly, had a high chair, seated us in a quiet back section, had a kids menu and crayons, brought out the food quickly, cut up veggies special for our son, and even brought us our check right away just in case we needed to leave. Plus the food was amazing. Wonderful experience all around!
