I've been to numerous KPOT chain in DC and NJ before, and I was ecstatic to see one open in Syracuse... Until we sat down. We told the hostess that our 2 kids (6 & 5) will not be eating, and have their own home made food with them. The hostess sat us down, and when the server came, we again told him that the 2 children will not be eating at all. He was very adamant that the 2 kids will have to be charged, regardless if they eat or not. I never had this issue at other KPOT franchise. Needless to say, they lost business over this issue that could have easily been accommodated.

Michael was an amazing waiter and made the experience so enjoyable. He even gave us samples of the food when we were unsure of which soup we wanted. He was so helpful and charismatic. As for the food, it was really good but the meat hurt my stomach. We tried dragon fruit and it was incredible. Vibes were good too. Only negative was the belly ache. Thanks Michael, You rock!

So i've been wanting to try this restaurant since it opened. Finally had the chance to go.I had never been before and so i wasn't sure how it worked. My waiter i believe his name was (Michael) was super awesome!.He walked us through the different food buffet options and showed us how all of it worked.All the food was delicious but i personally preferred the marinated meats over the frozen ones. All in all my first time experience was fun and i will definitely go back.

We went out for a birthday dinner, we had never done this before. It was different, we got to pick our own food and prepare it. While the server we had was excellent I was shocked and appalled that we couldn't take our leftovers home. Dinner with 1 drink per person was $275, with the tip. It's not a cheap meal. We just couldn't eat both the soup and the grilled food. Even letting you take home a smaller portion of our leftovers would be fine. There was just so much wasted food, it's a shameThey were super busy but we will not be back and sure they won't miss a few people, can't condon so much wasted food.Pics are the leftover food.
