Deleted my initial reviews from pre-Covid and post-Covid as those were a little outdated, but the rating is still the same.

My wife and I had dinner Saturday evening for the first time since they updated their seasonal menu for summer. Many old favorites are still there, but now there are new favorites to experience. Terrence took excellent care of us and Richard (an owner) stopped by on his night off. The food was delicious - I wish I had photos and will take them next time I am there. Some new favorites - a watermelon salad, gnocchi with pesto, chorizo arancini, and a one-night special of gochujang steak tacos with kimchi. The dumpling flight and bacon wrapped dates were amazing as always, and we ended with Crème brûlée and lemon ripieno, both mouthwatering and a perfect ending to an amazing dinner. We can't wait to go back to try more new dishes and savor more old favorites.

Fantastic hidden gem in Syracuse. Amazing small plates with a wide variety of options! Definitely try the sweet potato arancini and the apple & brie flatbread. The bartender was extremely kind and knowledgeable about the menu and made delicious cocktails. The atmosphere is very unique and cozy. We will definitely be back!

First visit. Fantastic food. Great atmosphere. Top notch service. Very happy I stopped in. Restaurant is huge old house. Large parking lot, plenty of spaces. If you go, try EVERYTHING. Plate after plate of over the top food. If you try one item... And think you found your favorite. Just wait till ya try something else on the menu. Every item winds up being your favorite.

I don't know what to say. I was really hoping I would've liked the food. The menu is written really well, to the point of imagining being able to taste the different items as I read it. I ordered the luscious sliders, mac and cheese rolls and creme brulee for dessert. The sliders had pickled onions on them, but not listed on the menu. No big deal, off they came. They were just OK, not amazing, not terrible. The max ace cheese rolls were not good at all. Poor flavor, very dry with absolutely no cheese for being called Mac& cheese. I feel like they were twice baked maybe? If I ran the kitchen, I would rethink those rolls. They could be amazing with some cheese and flavor. The roll was flaky, which I liked. The creme brulee was really bad. It's a difficult dessert to pull off properly, I admit. This is just not the way. It tasted absolutely like burned marshmallows. Maybe that's appealing to some, but it was definitely not what I would consider to be correct. One person in our party ordered mushroom spinach flatbread. I tried it and it reminded me of a very early/damp basement scent with matching flavor. Over-use of garlic and thyme in that and the brussel sprouts. I hate leaving negative reviews, especially for food. But if the establishment takes the reviews seriously, perhaps improvements could be made. The service was excellent, though one person in our party didn't receive one of her plates, so they made that to go for her. The space is small and somewhat cramped, but really not bad. Bathrooms were clean, the table and seating were comfortable, water was excellent and prices would be fair, if not for the sub-par food. I think this place has a lot of real potential. I'm sure others like it well enough, but for me? I've been eating food for over 5 decades and it just wasn't good. I have ideas that may work if someone will reach out and listen. I probably wouldn't return for a second visit. It's an eclectic place, and I think maybe that type of clientele is ok with the fare, thinking it's sophisticated. It's really not. I'm sorry this wasn't a better experience for everyone.

Walking into Laci’s on an early Friday evening, we expected it to be as busy as we had always seen it in the past but we were the only people in the bar. It was just after they opened and we had the entire bar to ourselves. Terrence was the bartender and we quickly learned it was going to be a fantastic evening. It was as if he read our minds when we couldn’t remember the drink we had in the past, and he promptly announced what it was and made us our first drink. We chatted with him and some of the staff, Audrey and Melissa , and we were so impressed with all of them. We ordered a few of the tapas dishes and they did not disappoint! The food was absolutely incredible but the service and staff were the real stars of the night! What an absolute pleasure it was to be able to experience great food , impeccable service and phenomenal hospitality by this magnificent staff. Don’t miss out on this amazing dining experience! We cannot wait to go back.

Had so much fun dining at Laci's Tapas!! So fun to pick things out to share and cocktails were amazing! HIGHLY recommend the lamb lollis, hot chicken sliders, dumpling flight, sweet potato arancini, and the Thai chili shrimp!! The Laci's Lemon drop cocktail was delicious as well! Our waiter Terrence was so nice, very helpful and attentive! He helped us decide what to order and steered us right! Can't wait to go back

Omg! Melissa was an angel on earth! The food as always was amazing. The sangria- delish.
Melissa was so fun and helped up choose the best whiskey flight and dessert. The only qualm I have is i can't buy a gallon of the sauce that comes with the dumplings. .....

Laci's Tapas Bar
My friend and I dined at the bar post an event held upstairs. I ordered a Cosmopolitan and my friend a Spanish red off the extensive wine list. The bar tender was friendly and very helpful with recommendations.
I ordered Beef Wellington which is a favorite among the many tappas to choose from. It was delight packed in to every bite!
Bacon wrapped jalapeños were also on must try list and did not disappoint, my friend enjoyed a flat bread with mushrooms and arugula. My second cocktail I chose a Lemon Drop. We loved the ambiance as well as the cocktails and tappas! The owner, mixologist, and chef were all very welcoming and attentive! Great evening out!

Lamb was excellent. Waitress was the best I’ve ever had- she even ran out to give me my phone when I, like an idiot, left it out on the patio.
