Three of us were there for lunch. The food was terrific and the portion sizes were extremely generous. Took home two boxes of what I could not eat. Definitely recommend Lavish Mediterranean for food lovers.

My husband and I are new to Syracuse and had a hard time finding good food in Syracuse after being spoiled by NYC’s fine dining scene. This Afghan restaurant completely blew us away. The food tastes like a home-cooked meal straight from your grandmother’s kitchen. The food is fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. Service is friendly and attentive, and the place is kept very clean.
The bolani was absolutely delicious, and every dish we tried was better than the last! Plenty of vegetarian options and the meat dishes are absolutely delicious.
The aesthetics aren’t the most modern, but the space is very clean and the service is warm and attentive. Once the food arrives, you forget everything else- it’s just that incredible. Truly a hidden gem in Syracuse, and one we keep coming back.

Came in with a party of 7 for dine in on a Saturday afternoon. Serverice was terrible. We waited 45 minutes and never even got a glass of water. There were only 2 other tables in the building. We finally got a single appetizer (out of the 4 we ordered and still no drinks). And it came to the table cold, we didn't even have plates to eat it so we walked out. Service was so terrible it's like it was intentionally insulting.

A laid back vibe with great chicken curry. The curry was not your typical heavy spicy curry. It was aromatic and the chicken was so tender. The young man who recommended it did right by me!

Super friendly people, great customer service, and a quiet, cool seating area. There was a mishap with their system when I ordered takeout and I had to wait when I got there. They were very apologetic and to make up for it they offered me a free drink. The food is perfectly cooked and they have large portions without skimping on the meat. I recommend the Bolani and lamb curry.

Delicious food! Garlic nan, samosas, chicken and lamb biryani (mild) dishes for dinner. The owner was very attentive and hospitable! Buffets available during the week to try different plates offered.

Every single thing was very delicious, especially the ground beef and the chicken kebabs. The chicken was white meat but very moist and flavorful - not dry at all. The bolani was also very delicious and filling. The portions were generous
