We had our work retirement party for 50 people at Maxwells, and we were so impressed with every single aspect of the experience! The evening was absolutely exceptional. Our guests loved the delicious food, the incredible atmosphere, all the little details like the beautiful gold mason jar candle centerpieces and the personalized chalkboards, the Photo Booth, the service, the slideshow presentations on the projector screen and TVs, the sound system, music….everything. People raved about the food- the pizzas were great for our mix and mingle style event, and we were obsessed with the arancini balls! We can’t thank you enough for your attention to detail, your great communication beforehand, and the hard work of your staff. Maria and her brother were both so kind and helpful. We had a great night, and look forward to working with you both again in the future. Thank you again.

Had my son’s SU graduation party here last night. It was the absolute best!! Maria the event coordinator from start to finish was THE BEST!! The staff was sooooo helpful setting up and all throughout the party. The food and the atmosphere were great. All 140 of us loved it. 10/10!! Run don’t walk if you are in Syracuse or need to throw a party!!! 🍊

The private room was a perfect spot for guests and would recommend to anyone. Everyone loved the food and we had a wonderful bartender that was great.

This is a great place on a summer night! Great outdoor seating with a fountain nearby. Good choice of beers ( I went old school with a Utica club in honor of my grandfather). The pizza is good (12” pie), pretzels are worth it. The nachos were a little thin on toppings. I’d go back!
Maxwell's is such a fantastic establishment run by the nicest people! I have been for drinks, dinner, Trivia, and even fraternity formals and have been continuously impressed by the atmosphere of kindness and service. Ownership and management always carry a smile on their face! Not to mention, the pizza is INCREDIBLE!

Best place to have a party in event room. Maria is the best to work with. Responded very quickly to inquire of room for my father’s birthday celebration. Lots of choices for food and the pizza oven has a variety of tasty pizzas to choose from. Kim DeStefano was the best bartender, quick, efficient and exceptionally friendly. The event room was everything I wanted & could have imagined to celebrate my dad’s 80th. Highly recommend with working with Marie for any parties in the future.
