if i could give no stars i would. this company is delivering furniture to an apartment that i live in. we go to leave and we have to go the opposite direction because of this moving company. we come back and they still have the entire road taken up. we ask them to move the truck so we can get through as im told by the workers “don’t need to be rude ma’am” then he proceeds to walk up to the truck and point at the “room” that is there which is absolutely no space for a TRUCK to fit through. both workers proceeded to mock me and say rude things. beyond disrespectful and pathetic you allow workers to sit there and treat people with disrespect when they don’t even live here and i have to rearrange my day and life because of them delivering to somebody. should be held accountable for their actions and for being unprofessional. it’ll never happen and it’s pathetic.
* picture shown is AFTER the guy moved the truck and mocked us* saw multiple people having to pull in a space and turn around and go through the other entrance because of people who don’t live here or pay to be here.
Trucker took up the whole parking lot and when asked to move it back so we could fit through gave us attitude acting like we could drive through. Very rude.
Reviews on the property are mixed, but I figured we’d give it a try due to proximity to SU Campus- and being a Wyndham property. We were there to drop off my student for college. There are two buildings and perhaps the Genesse building is better- but I can’t confirm. The lobby in that building is cleaner and doesn’t smell of 40 years of cigarette smoke, so it’s at least a little better. Our suite smelled of fried food, and the floor was sticky. Thermostat didn’t control the room temp - set at 66. Room temp stayed at 74 degrees and there was no discernible airflow. The chairs at the kitchen table are upholstered chaurs(seems an odd choice) and very dirty. It was just gross.
Double room is small and beds not entirely comfortable. Bathroom was not fully clean and the toilet was very low to the ground. Doors creaked badly waking everyone when using bathroom. No fridge which at this price should have been a given.
Avoid if you can! The place looks like it was renovated about 10 years ago but it’s already very worn. The room was very small. Our door made a loud scraping noise when you closed it. The bathroom door felt like it would come apart in your hand and the cabinets were peeling. The mattresses were rock hard and the beds creaked with slightest movement. The staff was nice and it seemed clean but next time in Syracuse I’m staying elsewhere
Rooms are very nice. Fridge, coffee maker, a microwave would have been great. Limited bar/resteraunts available I this area. Hotel offers shuttle service to places within a 3 mile radius. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Resteraunt on site is large and very well kept. A pool would have been nice
First time staying here. Will definitely go back. Great experience. Rooms were great, people were great. Loved the restaurant. This was my first time in a Wyndham Hotel but it definitely will not be my last. Thank you!
The staff is really the only reason this score is as high as it is. They were truly excellent. The room was dirty. There was a giant toenail under the sheets and loose strands of hair all over the floor that kept collecting on our socks. Also, the noise from the hallway was very loud through the entire night and early morning.
Not a great location, dingy dorm style rooms. No room to put anything. No chair to sit on, only a bed. Tiny room with concrete walls. Not worth $200/night. Thankfully it was just a pitstop on a long road trip
The lobby and bar are very nice, that’s where it ends. Thoroughly understaffed, the owners of the property could care less. No room service for four days.the day they were supposed to clean the room no one showed up. Current staff helpful, but not enough of them. Rooms are dirty and run down.

Our stay at the Collegian Hotel in Syracuse was greatly elevated by the warm, professional, and great service provided by Teela, the receptionist. From the moment we walked in, her warm welcome made us feel right at home. She addressed all of our room needs promptly and with the utmost care, proving not just her professionalism but her genuine kindness and her personal touch to service greatly contributed to our delightful stay in Syracuse. We cannot thank her enough for making our visit so comfortable and pleasant. Highly recommended!
The worst hotel experience of my life. Good- Staff was nice and helpful with recommendations and delivering the food to my room. Lobby was nice but seemed like the only thing the hotel spent money on. Bad- We had to take an outdated ramp through tiny hallways to get to our room. Right when I entered my room I was met with a stench like a Walmart Bathroom. There were chips in the paint and walls the paint was outdated and all of the furniture looked out of place. I slept 2 hours that night and I tried to turn on the tv and look though the channels but all of them said “No Connection” so I had to suffer though a non air conditioned summer night in a raggedy hotel. Our view out the window was to a parking lot and the blinds let so much light in from the cars lights outside. Safe to say I will never be coming back to this hotel.
They did a great job. Very professional. Great job wrapping stuff and caring for every item.
