First off, let me say that we made reservations with this establishment well in advance (over a month), for a party of 14 for their so called "Thanksgiving Buffet". The Sunday before thanksgiving, the owner calls me to collect a $25 per person deposit to guarantee our reservation. That in itself was kind of sketchy as this was never mentioned before, but I reluctantly gave her our credit card number after talking to some family about this request. Fast forward to Thanksgiving day, we all got there on time, and stood in line for 30 minutes before we could even check in. Their lobby was so full, we couldn't move. My elderly father who's in a wheelchair had to wait outside in the cold because there was no place to put him inside. After another 15-20 minutes, I finally got to the front of the line, and told them our name, and we were finally seated after another 10-15 minutes. The two tables they gave us only had 11 place settings, and we had to go and ask what was up. They ended up giving us a second table that seated more people, and then we had to ask for water glasses, and more place settings. One of our tables had their water glasses filled up with water, but unfortunately, the other table did not. It was very dry, as my husband jokingly stated. We then placed our orders, and received our salads, and other drinks we ordered. My sister wanted the Brie appetizer, but the waiter stated that they were all out of that. When I took my children to the buffet, in the bar area, it was very very dark in certain areas, so it was hard to see all the foods. The bin for macaroni and cheese was empty, and the bin for turkey was almost empty, with tiny scraps of meat left in it. We settled for ham, a couple scraps of turkey and "prime rib", and some mashed potatoes. I did take a small gelatinous piece of dressing and gravy as well. When everyone started eating, we all discovered that this $45.95 a plate buffet that was not all you can eat, by the way, was the most inedible food we've ever encountered. The mashed potatoes were very lumpy and had absolutely no flavor. The dressing was jello texture, and disgusting. All three meat selections up there, (ham, turkey scraps, and "prime rib") was most definitely deli meat sliced very very thin. The haddock that was up there looked dehydrated and inedible so we didn't take any. When the waitress checked back in on us, and gave us the check, I think she knew we all hated the food, because we handed her very full plates back. The majority of the $32.95 turkey plate was canned vegetables, with only 2 tbsp of gravy on potatoes. I will say that the tiny amount of bread given to us before dinner was very good. The desserts of pumpkin pie (bought at price chopper, as a person in our party saw the label on the pie tin), and cheesecake were subpar. They didn't put cherries on the cheesecake as advertised either. Also, my sister and brother in law both stated the leek soup tasted like dish water. Our waitress, was very polite, but our overwhelming experience for the price, was extremely disappointing.

After an hour and 45 minutes, we finally had our meals served. Each meal ordered by our party of six had problems that any good restaurant would have corrected or adjusted the bill. The prime rib was not served rare, rather medium as it was the last piece left at 6:00 PM! A side portion of the baked ziti was actually served instead of the dinner portion ($18). The pasta and sauce tasted "old." The salmon did not have the white wine sauce. The sauce was a biscuits and gravy sauce which did not compliment the salmon. That was not eaten. The pinwheels were overcooked so the cheese was hardened along with the bread. They were still using Sam Adam's Summer ale at the end of September instead of the Octoberfest. I do not drink draft beer that has been sitting around. Many dishes and Muscato wine were unavailable as they were "having a problem with the distributor. A few pluses. The bread was exceptional. I believe my husband and I spent $100 on bread as everything else was not eaten. And, the salad was fresh. When I brought these concerns to the manager, she did absolutely nothing except make excuses and blame it on the waitress. No accountability, no customer satisfaction, not even an apology. Doesn't the manager know that really bad meals and service are mentioned to our ENTIRE network of friends? It's not only posted on social media. Needless to say, we will avoid Mona Lisa's as there are better restaurants to patronize.

We do a lot of takeout. We keep coming back to Mona Lisas because their food is Awesome, service super and their food portions great. Lisa's homemade food makes us feel like family did the cooking. Those desserts are to "die for."

Kid-friendliness: Grandchildren love coming here.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy accessability whether in wheelchair or using a walker.

The owner of Mona Lisa is unneighborly and unfriendly. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and you're not allowed to park no matter what emergency or what problem you have in their driveway. They missed an opportunity to get their potholes in their parking lot fixed for free by making a business that does driveway sealing move their trucks. The company was planning on filling their potholes. I've been there once I thought it was overpriced and overrated.

My food was very disappointing. Haddock seemed frozen and dry. The busses sprouts which I never ordered where like microwaved. The vino was stale and bot what I ordered. The waiter was reminding us of hard times and covid. I wanted so bad to wall out. But I have alot of class. I paid and won't be returning . It's not italian. It was disgusting. Being I am italian I was very disgusted. It was dark and gloomy. And I guess the saying goes I won't be back over priced for microwave food !!! You really should be ashamed.

Everything I tried here was made using simple ingredients to good effect. I particularly enjoyed the clam sauce over spaghetti. The price is on the high side, but the portions are very large.

Making this rating for my father who doesn't know how. Can't rate the food or atmosphere as they didn't even allow him to dine. He showed up there last week sometime after mowing his lawn so he was a little grassy.. shook off as much as he could. Asked the man at the front if he could eat at the bar. The man looked him up and down said "there's people sitting there" to which my dad replied, okay so is that a yes or a no‽ and the man shouted back at him "I said no!" He said he's never experienced someone so rude in his life & we, as business owners ourselves have encountered some pretty rude people. It's not a fine dining establishment so I'm not sure why he would be turned away based on his appearance.

Stopped in to Mona Lisa today, Sunday. They were serving a buffet menu all day, with different offerings for Breakfast, Brunch and Dinner. (On Sundays offerings are buffet only)My husband had the brunch buffet. There were some nice options, and all the food was homemade. Price seemed reasonable. I was unable to order the buffet as it contained many items which are not comparable with my dietary restrictions. They do have a gluten free menu but they are not contained on the buffet. Initially we considered not being able to stay, however after explaining my dilemma the owner graciously offered to make me one of the gluten free entrees. (See below for more info about dietary restrictions). I ordered the gnocchi with spinach, red pepper and Kalamata olives. It was definitely homemade and delicious. They were amazingly accommodating. Service was good. Would definitely recommend for those in need of gluten free.

Dietary restrictions: For gluten free diners, there are several nice selections. Several pasta, , haddock, gnocchi, prime rib, soup and appetizers just to mention some. The pasta used was brown rice not corn for my particular dish, which was appreciated as I cannot corn.
