Great place to have breakfast. BOMBBBBB breakfast sandwiches! I get: Double bacon extra crispy, egg over medium, white cheddar cheese & cut in half. Add a healthy amount of black pepper yourself! Makes my morning every time I have it. The people are SUPER nice, including the owner, cooks, and wait staff! They'll have your food ready in less than ten minutes! Definitely a gem downtown and worth checking out. The cookies are soft and delicious :)

Small family type diner. Serves breakfast all day which most places in area do not. Great prices too? they have specials as low as $5 and portions are large!!

Good home cooked breakfast and lunch that comes out fast and hot! Nestled inside an office building, cozy diner feel. Bathrooms are small but clean. Staff is friendly, music is good and so is the food.

Went here for lunch; I had to roast beef platter w/mac salad. Food was very good quality & tasty. Service was great. Prices very reasonable. Location is a little odd but worth the effort; you'll see the tarp with the restaurant name on it just next to the M&T Bank/building entrance- you walk into the building and pass the bank area on one side and a security desk on the other- then the restaurant is just about 30 feet ahead of you like an oasis. A friend of mind had the turkey platter and also gave it 4 stars. The other friend of mine had the Frittata- she said it was delicious; it was notably HUGE- it was fortunate she liked it because she will literally be eating it for dinner later and breakfast tomorrow. They actually have a larger size Frittata that is so big they give it to you for free if you can eat it within 30 minutes (and survive).

Thought this tiny diner tucked away in a downtown office building would be a guaranteed great breakfast. Not so much. Food was just okay, eggs were a bit rubbery, potatoes weren't browned at all, though my husband said his breakfast sandwich was tasty. Much worse - I always ask for milk for my coffee because I don't like the taste of half and half, and they won't give you any - you have to buy an overpriced bottle from their To Go case. WTF? Finally, usually one of the best things about diners is friendly service, but this place disappoints on that score as well. Waitress, Alexis, was apathetic in the extreme. I wouldn't go back under any circumstances.

I had one burger here months ago and I'm still raving about it. It was hands down one of the best I have ever had. The staff was friendly as well.

Excellent old school diner. Good food, portion size, service, and value. Go for lunch or dinner--it's great!

Best breakfast in the area. Lunch is not so good but breakfast sandwiches and pancakes are on point!

This was my first visit to Nick's. Definitely a classic style diner. The decor was decent though what I really enjoyed most was the 50s/60s doo-wop music in the background. Our waitress Alexis was lovely, very attentive and kept the cooks on track with our meals. I had a Philly cheese steak wrap w Mac salad which was tastey. Overall a good experience!

Great service. Open for breakfast and lunch only. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Food is good and quick.

This is a surprisingly large coffeeshop hidden within the guts of the M&T Building. Blast from the past - diner-style bar and formica booths crammed in front of an open kitchen and takeout counter. The service is friendly, the menu is varied, and the food is mainly made from scratch (and tastes good). I like it here.
