Over the Cuse Deli and Grill

I have been here multiple times, and I never have had a bad meal. This place has to be the best place to get a great meal. The chicken over rice bowl is my usual go to, but their smash burgers are also some of the best in town. The best part, in addition to the great food, is the service. No matter how busy they are, they usually get your food ready within 15 minutes. They always have tons of people working, but the food is always consistently great!

We came here with my kids and my 80 year old mom for dessert. Ended up with the chaos cookie (had a little of everything in it) and a macadamia white chocolate. The lady who greeted us asked if we’d ever been there before and we hadn’t. She offered us all samples of halal chicken and rice and it was SO GOOD. We stuffed it in even though we all just ate dinner! We’d never had halal before so it was a treat to be able to try it! It was so good I got my son a gift certificate so he could come back. The woman needed an assist with doing the gift card sale and the man that helped me was just as nice! 10/10 service, everyone was so friendly, the food and cookies were amazing and we will definitely be back! What a great spot!

I usually don't leave reviews but the food I got today was fantastic and I have to leave a review. I got the crispy chicken Cajun Mac n cheese, 12 in Philly steak, order of fries, and a slice of brownie cheesecake. All were huge portions and was enough for 2-3 meals each for us. I shared the cheesecake with my daughter, and the fries were in a cup overflowing in the bag(like 5 guys). Ordered on Uber eats and paid for express delivery and a top came to $60(around the same for a huge fast food chain for us with less food!) plus the meals also came with fries, next time I'll sub the fries for more Mac n cheese with my Cajun tenders

5 stars for everything! The staff were friendly and helpful, the restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was great, and the food was amazing. We were in a group of 4 and we all tried each other’s meals… all were delicious!! We’re from Louisiana so our standards when it comes to food are high. Do yourself a favor and go here. I’d easily travel a few hours just to eat here.

Probably one if not the best food choice you can get around here. They close decently late, and the food will always be good. The food is very flavorful, the people who work there are always doing their best, overall just a really nice place to eat at. Over the cuse is a staple, and I will keep coming here to get my usual. The Cajun Fries are extremely good, especially if you ask for extra crispy. They will never fail you. Please check this place out.

The food is tasty, but really what impressed me was the VERY nice staff. The experience was so positive and seriously good food. The smash burger and chicken/lamb rice was very flavorful. We will visit again ❤️
