I stopped at Panera Bread at Wolf Rd in Albany and had such a good experience I thought I would go back to the one here in Fairmount. It was NOT the same experience. My portion sizes were considerably smaller and my bread did not seem fresh. Maybe the one at Wolf Rd. Albany was fresh out of the oven and the warmth made it more enjoyable.

i asked them for 2 extra baguette as well as the 2 that comes with the soup , one sliced in the bag and one normal, the cashier obviously didn’t understand what i said and i only got 2 baguettes and when i brought it up the manager got mad at me and said that’s not what i ordered when it was on the receipt

Love this place! I come here with my girlfriends for coffee about once a month- it's always clean, the staff are always friendly and inviting, and the food is always fresh (try the orange scones:) )- can't really beat that these days!
Parking: Lots of handicap parking
Kid-friendliness: Definitely bring the kids :)
Wheelchair accessibility: A couple doors to go through from outside but other than that it seems manageable

Three hours prior to closing time, a staff member felt the need to repeatedly vacuum around our table for approximately 10 minutes. We asked him twice to politely refrain, but he laughed it off and didn't stop. Between the noise and dust from the vacuum and unprofessionalism, we are not happy. Also, all food on display should be protected. There were flies on the muffins and bread. The cashier told me those were the actual food that I would be receiving.

10 minutes before closing, the young staff turned off all the lights so patrons would leave - leaving the restaurant in complete darkness. (This was after one employee ran the carpet sweeper around people as they were eating.) The handful of cutomers in the restaurant at that time made their way through the dark, across a freshly mopped (wet) floor to the doors. Clearly, the staff has not been trained properly and could benefit from adult supervision.

When I went in to pick up my pick up order the woman and the man that were working at 11 AM on August 8th were extremely rude and looked at me like I had 7 heads and and we’re laughing in my face, asking me if they can help me with something and why am I standing here just standing there like it was just I can’t even explain how rude it was. I left in tears.
Watch for Paneras that don’t load bakery items in to the kiosk. It’s just a way of getting you to pay full price for them.

Ordered a half chicken green goddess sub sandwich for shy of 9$. All they put on the sandwich was tomatoes and cheese. This is absolutely absurd. Not only is there no green or chicken even in the sandwich but trying to sell me tomatoes and cheese on bread for 9$ when IT LITERALLY SAYS GREEN & I ordered a CHICKEN green goddess. I'm going to formally report this location too the BBB.
