Moved here in February and have been a regular since. I have never had a single issue with the friendliness, Service or Food. Tonight on 3/30/2024 I had issues with all three. I had a very small Order. To start with I only live 5 minutes away from the store but I cannot walk there past dark as its not safe. I ordered around 7:45 PM. I was informed my Delivery was done around 8:42 PM. 9:05 comes around no order. I call and get told they are behind on Orders. Cool. No problem. Worried my food would be cold but it is what it is. Called back almost half hr later when food was still not here. Got my food in very bad condition. The black to go boxes were both smooshed and I didnt get my drink I paid for. Called to talk to someone about the missing drink and shocker...kept getting put on hold and eventually disconnected. What on earth?! Soured my opinion a little bit on this place. Food was soggy and cold as well but I couldn't talk to anyone to replace or get it remade after being told to call back to get things made right. The day before easter people have things to do and I didnt have time to play phone tag with the girl on the phone.

I literally ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and cheese fries yesterday for $33... And let me tell you, the pizza was as dried as can be, it had absolutely no buffalo sauce on it.. barely had cheese and had random pieces of chicken tenders on it... And the fries lol, they literally melted shredded cheese onto my fries and called them cheese fries. How tacky! If I wanted shredded cheese to be melted into my fries, I would have made them at home. I won't be ordering from peppinos again nor will I recommend the food to anyone. The quality sucks and isn't worth the money!! Id honestly love a refund but I'm sure they won't do that.. definitely not Italian made pizza.. Americanized for sure!

We ordered 2 chicken deluxe subs, cheese fries and a personal pizza. I am very sorry to say the sandwiches we got were not good AT ALL. Chicken was thick and rubbery, coating was bland, a few tiny pieces of onion and the bread was stale.. The cheese fries were just fries with shredded unmelted cheese on top, also rubbery. I recommend sticking with pizza if ordering here, that is the one thing they do right.

Small shop with 4 small tables for seating. Displayed slices and desserts looked delicious! We ordered a buffalo chicken ranch wrap and a Gluten Free pizza. The GF pizzas only come in a "medium" size, not by the slice. Service was quick and friendly!

Just ordered a calzone. Called and advised worker no sauce in calzone and told me it doesn’t come that way. I order it that way all the time. Also no extra sauce that I asked for as well. Horrible customer service. ??? called back a year later. All the drug attics that work at this place don’t understand customer service. Called to order a calzone again horrible customer service.

I ordered a pizza and I understand the weather is bad. I got a text saying Pizza was ready hour and a half later I’m still waiting for my delivery and I’ve been a chef for 30 years you don’t start food when your drivers behind pizza is gonna be dried out and nasty my recommendation. If you’re running behind, don’t start the food for business. As I was right, this delivery guy showed up very polite said he was sorry. Pizza is cold and dried out. Unacceptable.

As someone who grew up in Detroit, raised on Jets pizza, the Detroit style pizza was a huge disappointment. Not true to the style at all.

Always a great place for a lunchtime slice. They have at least 8-10 options out at any time and there's always something interesting / unique that you've never seen someplace else (i.e. chicken cordon bleu pizza). Prices are reasonable and slices always tasty.

45 minute delivery turned into a 2+ hour wait. Food was cold. Won't be ordering again. Used to love this place but it's gone down the toilet.

For me, this place had a bit of a learning curve. I had ordered from here before, and it was the pizza of choice for my old employer for our annual "pizza party in lieu of a pay raise" parties. This place is constantly raved about, and I never understood why, because their standard pizzas just aren't that good. They've got that dry, spongy, egg-washed feel to them with very little sauce to compensate. I was ready to write them off entirely, and had done so for years. We came back because we've been trying Detroit style pizza, and Peppino's came highly recommended. This led to a few more visits and a whole series of amazing discoveries. I'll be as concise as I can, but there's a lot to talk about. -The PS2 Pizza: Our usual issue with the pizza is that it's dry and firm, so it was great having this one piled with a good amount of sauce plus ricotta cheese. This thing was a hurricane of taste with all the cheeses and well placed meats. It tasted like a charcuterie board, but ate like an amazing pizza. $20.00 for a pizza you can eat by yourself if you put your mind to it, but a very unique must-try experience. -Jimmy Hoffa Detroit Style Pizza: We did a four-square. We're not usually crazy about Sicilian or Detroit style pizzas, but never really sought them out either. This was very well made, and tasted fresh. Crispy, tasty crust. A worthy detour from NY Style pizza once in a while. The pepperoni wasn't really cup & char style, and the honey drizzle was minimum. It ate like a regular pepperoni. -Chicken Riggies: Nothing special. More like pasta with regular red sauce than traditional Chicken Riggies. No cherry peppers, no spicy whatsoever. They don't even ask if you want it spicy, it's just not part of the build. -Wings: The wings they sell by the pound. Wings are already at an all time high, I feel like it's just another way for them to get more buck for less bang. We liked the quality, and upon request they did make them crispy with plenty of sauce. We ordered Nuclear and Everything. Neither had a great tasting sauce, in fact they were both kind of off and weirdly over-salted. The nuclear wasn't crazy spicy considering its name, but spicier than typical "hot" wings, which is always nice to have as an option. I don't know what we were expecting, but the "Everything" flavor didn't really translate into wings. It was just a taste we couldn't really understand with a bunch of seeds. -Pilgrim Pizza: This is a long running tradition we were excited to finally try. It's their "Pizza of the Month" every November. The downside is that they use craisins instead of cranberry sauce. We got them on the side, but ended up reducing some cranberry sauce ourselves and drizzling it over our slices. This was super easy to do and I highly, highly recommend it. This pizza was one of my all time favorite Thanksgiving heaps, with a gravy base, dallops of mashed potatoes, stuffing, and of course turkey. You absolutely need to try this at least once. -Gourmet Breakfast Pizza: Breakfast pizza has a tendency of being too dry, but this was super smooth, borderline gooey. If you like breakfast pizza, this will be a favorite. -Melts: We had to call and clarify whether the Eggplant Parm was actually a "Cheeseburger Melt" as it was classified on the menu. It wasn't. We went with the Peppino and the Mediterranean. To our surprise, these are not made with regular bread, but they're more like calzones. They're baked in dough and served with that same watery marinara sauce. Except the dough is so soft, it's more like a pastry, and still eats like a melt. This was new for us. The Peppino was normal good. Meatballs, sausage, mozzarella and marinara. The provolone gives it a similar taste to the PS2 pizza. The Mediterranean melt though, that was our favorite thing. A hot Italian lineup of high quality deli meat, but the roasted red peppers transcend it to something life changing. For $10.99, this is one o
