I really enjoy walking into an independently owned establishment that serves good, hearty food and knows what they're good at.
I ordered a chicken quesadilla with everything on it. There was a good sized line but the gentleman who helped me didn't rush or show any signs of hurrying. That was greatly appreciated. Also, the people in line didn't seem to mind the wait, probably because they knew the food was worth it!
My quesadilla was thick and properly toasted. A little char on the edges, crispy and folded to perfection. I was in the restaurant for less than 10 minutes.
I'm looking forward to my next visit for sure. I want to try the pulled pork!
Parking: More than enough space to accommodate a busy lunch hour. Even if the lot is full, Street parking is readily available right next to the establishment.
Just had the chorizo breakfast burrito it was fantastic definitely five star!!

This place has the absolute best food! For me, I’m a big burrito guy and let me tell you if you love Mexican food… You’ll be happy you went! You can just tell by the first bite, all ingredients are fresh! The place is super clean, attentive staff and is family owned and operated!

I LOVE Ponchito’s, the food goes craaazy!
But just like other people are saying though, the hours are crazy - I’ve stopped here twice in the last month and it was closed, and it was only like 5 or 6 pm. I honestly have no idea what the days or hours they’re open are.

I absolutely love Ponchitos. The only issue I have is finding information about days & times they are open. Their website differs from Google, but neither seem accurate as there are times one, the other, or both say they are open, but I get the answering machine/voicemail. Other than that though, they are on point!

Normally this place would get 5 stars, and the food is definitely worth it, but the service is maddening. Not only are the hours off online, but they apparently close their grill and fryer at least 25 minutes early. This effectively eliminates 1/2 the menu. With the best fish tacos I have ever had in my life, I literally cry when stuff like this happens. Last 3 times we have been there we have either run into a fryer issue or them running out of fish. I love you guys, I do, but please stop being so inconsistent.

One of my most favorite places for genuine South American cuisine. The owner definitely hit the mark here!! Varieties and always delicious!! You cannot go wrong with the menu options!! It is definitely worth it. Make sure you save your leftovers, bc you will. And you get to enjoy them later on!!
