Having an intense conversation at end of meal, just before leaving and server's assistant could not read the table, stood there taking everything off the table, we were just about to leave, this seemed rude. There was not a line of people waiting for table. I think I expected more in general, sea bass was greasy due to preparation. Thought filet would have had more flavor? Crab legs excellent, service excellent. I'm a server, so may be more picky.

My girlfriend and I went to Prime for Dining Week this year. Have been wanting to go for a few years, but during their busy season reservations can be hard to come by. Got lucky and went in on a Monday evening. Not very busy. However, service was pretty bad almost immediately. We were seated and forgotten about for a half hour before someone came to take drink and app orders. Food took well over in hour. We went in at 7 and didnt leave until almost 10pm. Our server, Jay, noticeably forgot about us several times. It felt nearly discriminator as my partner and I are both women and plus size people. His tone was over compensatory when he realized at the end of the dinner that we were feeling pretty frustrated about being repeatedly forgotten about. By the end of the evening we had to search out another employee just to be able to pay and leave. The food is delicious but the for the price? When the service was so poor and uncaring? I cannot say I would recommend to a single person and in fact will be warning them against it. Not that this will curb their business necessarily but LGBTQIA folks, be ware.

Had a terrific meal with work colleagues a month or so ago and Prime did a great job. We Shared a few different steaks and the crab legs. All were perfect. We ate in the bar area, We had fun with our waitress/bartender - she was super busy covering the entire bar but did a great job and we never had to wait.

Had an amazing birthday dinner here! The food and drinks were terrific and the service was wonderful. Prime has an old school vibe to it and is definitely among the best steakhouses I've been to. You can't go wrong ordering the surf and turf! My Old Fashion was delicious as well. I highly recommend giving Prime Steak House your business. 8.5/10

the steak is quite excellent. five stars.i was mildly confused when our server asked us if we wanted anything to drink (wine) three times. i'm glad she checked because some people may feel anxious to ask for alcohol and giving them the opportunity to order some may help.while that may be the case for others, it is definitely not what we needed. i'm a recovering alcoholic and underage, and the other person (out of three) needed to drive. one person at our table ordered one glass of wine before we ordered appetizers. perhaps she was trying to check on him first and then would double check with us too.i don't hold anything against the server, in fact i wouldn't know how to go about the situation myself if i was a server or manager. not the slightest clue. it's a strange predicament and i don't blame anyone for how it was handled.the service was excellent. i appreciate how patient our server was, given the energy at the table. she was great with showing us the menu options and had an impressive knowledge of wine. if i had money to pitch in for the tip, i would have doubled it. she deserved it.the atmosphere is good. i really appreciated the interior of that building and i loved that the restaurant was in the basement. i was mildly uncomfortable with the atmosphere several times. i grew up in some hardcore poverty, and i barely knew how to hold myself many times. i tried to remember how the kids stood and sat when they were being "proper" in the privileged public school i went to. i kept thinking about how different it was to be able to be there, compared to how i lived when i was homeless.good restaurant. if you can afford it, try the NY strip steak.Dietary restrictions: i was able to stay on my low FODMAP diet with no problems.Wheelchair accessibility: i didn't see wheelchair accessible parking. i think they should increase their wheel traffic. (as opposed to foot traffic)
