Despite being the lone diner I gave Rachel’s five stars for “Atmosphere” as it is my preferred dining style ;) My server (Beth) was very friendly and engaging. However, the focal point of my experience was the Rueben! Corned beef stacked high and drenched in Russian dressing, this beautiful mess oozed melted Swiss and ‘kraut from all sides. The bread had a nice texture and was perfectly toasted though it struggled to hold it all together. As a side I chose the sweet potato fries and was thoroughly impressed. Washed down with an Athletic Brewing Co NA IPA this made for a perfect early lunch.5/5 would eat again.

Located in the Syracuse University Sheraton, Rachel's is a terrific restaurant for all your meals. Plus, the staff is the best.

Staying at the hotel. Decided to order food here even though the ratings were a bit low. I’m glad I did. Service from the host and bartender were friendly, fast and genuine. Food was also good and reasonable (especially for a hotel restaurant). I’ve stayed at this hotel quite a few times and will definitely eat here again. Wish I had tried it before!
Is this not called citrus or sitrus? Either way it’s the restaurant in the hotel. We had breakfast there on two occasions and the food was surprisingly delicious. Coffee was good. The hotel bar was average, not very good at mixed drinks. No drink menu with mixed drink offers. I’d pass on the bar unless it’s easy because you are staying at the hotel.
Food and drink were great. Associates were very attentive and friendly. Will return
Dietary restrictions: They are excellent for catering to allergy needs
Brunch was ok...
Expensive breakfast $$$
The food is mediocre. The customer service isn’t great, except for Sarah! Sarah is wonderful!
I tried the burger and it was very good!Quite place, so it is good to have a formal conversation with people.

We were staying in the hotel where this restaurant is located. We tried to eat dinner there before the Paul McCartney concert. It was packed. We even went early. We found a seat and the quite frazzled waitress said twice she’d be right with us. Well, after 25 minutes we left! Totally ridiculous! I know things are bad now in the restaurant industry, but when you expected a lot of people in town for a concert, get more waitresses on! Restaurant definitely needs more organization.
It's located inside of Sheraton Hotel. Chicken Avocado Wrap was very good! It comes with a choice of fries or potato chip!
My family and I came here for their annual Mother’s Day brunch years ago and it was great! Unfortunately, that experience did not replicate itself. The food this time around was subpar. The omelette station with a nice young lady by the name of Cassandra was amazing and the desserts were good. The very worst part was that they were seating all of the black patrons in a room in the back of the restaurant! We were horrified to see the scene when we arrived and will not be returning!
Dined at Rachel’s with a party of 10 guests for Mother’s Day brunch. I called in ahead of time to ask about the menu items being served. The host informed me about the “roasted lamb” and “roasted sirloin” via phone conversation. I don’t eat lamb but I was especially excited about the sirloin. We were looking forward to it all week. However, when we arrived, the so-called “roasted sirloin” turned out to be ordinary pre-sliced deli meat doused in gravy. Definitely unsatisfactory and displeased with the meal. I was misinformed and quite embarrassed that I had invited another family to join us. They should not have described the menu in a misleading manner. We would’ve booked another place. It was definitely not worth our visit.
The food here is pretty good but they never have enough staff. If you are in a hurry let them know. The staff is kind and courteous but sooooo slow! Shrimp appetizer is very good. As is their salmon dish.
