Went to Recess coffee for the first time for a mental health day. Everyone was abuzz with conversation and positive vibes! The service was quick and the server was attentive and kind. My Omegatine was delicious! Great job, Recess!

Earlier today I had ordered an espresso. I went to use the bathroom inside the facility and the door was quickly opened on me with a women shoving herself through, stating that the bathroom was not public and I could not use it. She did end up apologizing for how aggressively she opened the door, hitting me doing so. This women was very inconsiderate, considering I already had placed an order and was simply trying to use the restroom. I left and apologized, however I was very disappointed to hear the women complaining afterwards knowing I was there and could hear her. Very upsetting, the expresso was good along with the atmosphere, however I was very disappointed in the service and employees.

This used to be my favorite place to spend extra time, but sometime within the past several weeks it's really gone down hill. My usual order doesn't taste as good as it used to and the new baristas aren't accommodating. I'm a creature of habit and having to move coffee shops is a great letdown, but I'd rather drive further and spend a little more than go to Recess anymore

Recess Coffee is a must stop on any trip to Syracuse for me. I love their peanut butter mocha (pb + chocolate + espresso = a heavenly combination), their bites are great, and the service is always lovely. And, this location of Recess Coffee is no exception. The seating area is comfortable, offering options for those wanting to get some work done as well as those on coffee dates or meeting friends. For warmer months, they also have some outdoor seating options. The set up is order at the counter and pick up at an adjacent counter. I stopped by most recently on my way to the airport and was able to dart in, grab a bite and a cuppa, and be on my way in no time. Get to it!

Checked out this shop this morning and I was thrilled! A spacious yet cozy feeling café full of interesting-looking people, delicious coffee, and a menu I can't wait to explore. Their signage was fun - they share my sense of humor. I'll definitely be back to spend time hanging out here.

What a dope coffee shop. Employees were delightful, the vibe of the shop is nice, and my sandwich was bangin'. My PSL was fantastic too, Starbucks couldn't hold a candle to it.
Visited for the first time while driving through Syracuse, midday Saturday. Lattes were fabulous with the creamiest foam we can remember. The "Schwarzenegger" Panini menu (see photo) offered several tasty options; my Governator ham and cheese panini was nicely equipped and delicious. Staff was friendly and quick, ambiance was fresh and spacious, good music playlist. We're glad we stopped there. Highly recommended!
