Everything was amazing - especially the food. Just didn’t love the staff coming over every other second to attend to water or something else that can wait. Please also be aware of a credit card fee they stick in your bill. We did not love this strange add on especially after spending so much money, but will still be back (with cash)!

I’ve eaten here several times and always walked away very happy. The seven course tasting menu with wine pairing is one of the best meals I’ve had in my life. In particular, the Colorado lamb with sausage, eggplant, and zucchini was insanely good.

This is THE go to place for fine dinning in Syracuse! The food is stunning and the menu is curated with care. The service, food, and atmosphere is worthy of a Michelin star for sure! Spend the extra and do the full wine pairing, you won’t regret it.

Good fine dining place in Syracuse. The entire menu is paired with wines (you can order without wine), showcasing the chef's care for wine selection. This makes it an ideal destination for wine lovers. The dishes are not only delicious but also beautifully presented, adding to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. However, the foie gras was a bit greasy for my taste. What impressed me the most was the friendliness of the staff. While I was taking pictures, a male staff member approached my table and kindly removed any items that were obstructing the background. This level of attentiveness made my experience even better, and I would gladly return on a special occasion.Additionally, convenient parking spaces are available right in front of the restaurant.

Three friends and I went to Saint Urban for my 30th birthday dinner and we had an incredible time! I wasn’t sure what to expect because looking at the menu online, it seemed a little overwhelming. But we had an amazing server who explained everything to us. The entire staff was warm and friendly. It made fine dining very accessible. And the food was delicious! It was a great experience.

This place is excellent. One of the best dining experiences I've had. The attention to detail in regards to the food, service, and wine is outstanding. While I got the 3 course meal with a wine flight, I would be more than happy to come back here and go for the 5 or 7 course menu with the wine pairings. Every course and wine is explained to you in detail and shows how much thought is put into the experience. The staff were extremely attentive, with multiple servers tending to your table. They also make it very clear that tip is included in your bill (though you are able to tip extra if you would like). You need to visit here at least once. It's worth it.

I am a regular at this restaurant, trying each one of their monthly themed menus and wine lists. The space is wonderful - intimate enough but not crowded - you can have a nice conversation with your companions. Service is some of the best I have seen in the area in decades - the attention to detail is worthy of many big city restaurants. I don't eat fish or seafood, and, while the menus are 3, 5 and 7 courses containing both, they can always find an incredible substitute for me. The servers are very knowledgeable about their menu and can answer any question about it. The food is consistently amazing - fine dining at its best. I love their soups, which always have interesting textural components to them. My dining partner loves their fish and how it is prepared. Wine pairings are always on point - deliciously complementing the food. If you like fine dining and are in the Syracuse area, this is a must-visit.

I did a 7 course meal with basic wine pairing. The service was amazing. Every dish and wine was explain about what was in it and what the intent of the dish is. The flavor of the food was great and most dishes had a great balance of flavors.I wish there was more bread severed since the house bread is amazing. Also I wish there was the choice of desert for the 7 course like there is for the 3 and 5 course options.

Parking: On side of a busy street. Need to be careful of the signs of where to park. I got a warning from the police as to where I was parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: Single level with almost no bumps to get in. The double door way might be tricky but should have plenty of space.

Keri and Jared are spectacular. We visited during December’s menu for Bordeaux and each part of every course was perfection. An unforgettable dining experience.

I had a great time dining here! They have a long wine list you can choose from and the food was good as well.

Truly exceptional. Perhaps the nicest meal and overall dining experience I've had in 15 years. We live in downtown Chicago and my husband likened it to "Charlie Trotter's" , which sadly closed. I honestly thought it was better. Reminded me of some of the chef-owned treasures you may come upon in the South of France. Fresh, extraordinary ingredients creatively and perfectly prepared and presented. AND they were amazingly accommodating with my food allergies. Outstanding!

Saint Urban seeks to provide haute cuisine gourmet dining found primarily in large cities. It offers a choice of prix fixe options: 3, 5 or 7 courses. We chose 3 courses, which certainly left us satisfied. Don't let the small portions fool you. They also serve you additional two or three smaller surprise dishes as well as scrumptious bread. If you opt for the 5 or 7 course meals, be sure to arrive on a very empty stomach.I chose the smoked trout pate appetizer, hangar steak and single-origin chocolate and huckleberry dessert. My wife had a custom ordered vegetarian dish along with the Hiramasa beet-fennel appetizer and post-main course cheese plate. The food items were immaculately laid out. While all courses were tasty, I confess that none were truly tantalizing to my taste buds - except the single origin chocolate dessert, which was exquisite. The steak was chewy, not the melt-in-your-mouth high-end cut of beef one would expect for this price. But it was okay.Saint Urban also prides itself on its wine selection. During our visit they featured wines of the Rhone Valley. Our champagne aperitif was very dry and refreshing. The Fenouillet de Beaume red, however, was harsh, rough on the tongue. Avoid this one. With your life.Service was universally attentive, the servers very pleasant and glad to answer questions. Gratuity is included in the price, a welcome policy.Saint Urban's atmosphere is mixed. On the one hand, it is intimate and cozy with gentle lighting. And overall it combines rough industrial elements popular in cool urban eateries and bars for years now, with modern art murals. While one doesn't feel transported to Manhattan, one can nonetheless fleetingly lose the stark realization that one is in Syracuse, NY. The front limp, faded yellow curtains, however, look like they were purchased at a Saturday flea market. They should replaced with something classier, perhaps brighter with frills as one encounters in French bistros. Management would be well advised to take measures to buffer the noise level, which inhibits comfortable conversation. Saint Urban's acoustics are a notch less ear-ringing than a New York City E-train stop during rush hour. Floors are bare concrete; the walls lack sound-absorbing tapestries. The ceiling appears to be some manner of reconstituted industrial waste - in keeping with the post-industrial decor, but does nothing to blunt noise. Is Saint Urban a mind-blowing gustatory experience you will remember for years? Nope. The platinum standard for this kind of dining can be found at the Inn at Little Washington (Virginia), Summit at the Broadmoor (Colorado Springs, CO) and the North Fork Table & Inn (Southold, NY), where the food is truly exceptional, you'll never be served a lousy wine, the atmosphere captures your soul and the service is done with flair, panache and fun. But Syracusans are very lucky to have a Saint Urban for that special occasion when you're glad to shell out bigger bucks for a classy dining experience.

My Husband and I celebrated our recent wedding here after our original honeymoon plans were thwarted. Both of us opted for the 7 course menu with wine pairing. Upon entering it was clear we would enjoy ourselves. The environment felt like someone’s lovely home kitchen spilled into an upscale dining room. There was a team of servers. We had one doing the bulk of our service, but it was clear they all worked together to take care of the patrons. The staff were kind, knowledgeable and professional. We were taught about the wines paired with each of our courses. The courses flowed beautifully and the wines paired with them were perfect. I could write an entire article about how much we truly enjoyed this experience, and perhaps I nearly have. We are already planning to celebrate our first wedding anniversary here next year. Can’t wait to see what will be on the menu then!
