Fantastic spread of options for meals as well as amazing quality. The bar always has stellar holiday parties and one of the bartenders, Chris, is extremely knowledgeable re: cocktails! One of my favorite spots downtown!

We recently hosted our organization's 10-year anniversary event at Salt City Market. It was a great space, and everyone was very accommodating! The folks who helped up reserve the room answered all our many questions. The security people nicely let us into the room when we arrived unannounced to check out the room beforehand. The 3 Salt City Market vendors we worked with for catering were great and the food was delicious. And attendees were able to get adult beverages and coffee drinks at Salt City at the other side of the market.

The room is large, but can be arranged into a couple of smaller areas with the available chairs and tables, couches, and a coffee table. The room is equipped with a coat rack and 2 gender-neutral bathrooms. There's a large screen that can be used for presentations, and lots of windows with shades that can be opened or closed.

I recommend Salt City Market as a clean, well-run, hip, and delicious place to host an event.

Salt City Market is located in downtown Syracuse. We were there on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The market has a great vibe and hip background music. The market has a bar. The market is a mixed use facility. There are apartments for rent above it.

There are a variety of food stalls, ranging from middle eastern, to BBQ soul food, to Jamaican, to Vietnamese. There is a "bakery" specializing in delicious select slices of cake, and they have Baklava. We tried the Vietnamese food. It was fresh and delicious. From a guy's point of view, I was left a little hungry. My wife was satisfied. Get a hot or cold bubble tea from the cookie stall behind the cake stall. I also had a large oatmeal raisin cookie that was the best I ever had. It was filling. It was made without butter. Take another cookie for another day.

Prices are moderate. Some might feel they are a little high, but the quality of the food was worth it. Expect to pay $12-16 for an entree.

Read the wall near the bathrooms. It explains the origins of this great food market. It is likely busy during the week.

The market is located near Armory Square, a great place for window shopping, boutiques, and walking around. There are restaurants here too. You can get on the highway easily from here. Both places are near a somewhat deserted area, so keep your windows near closed until you get on the highway to go home.

Overall, it is a great and safe place to visit during the day.

We went to Sin Bun and it was so delicious!! I got the bacon cheeseburger value meal for 15$ came w a side and a drink.. I would have never tried this so I stepped out of my comfort zone.. glad I did.
The market itself was nice to see a nice food court is what it is.. there is a store with organic items.. I was thinking it was going to be a variety of vendors.. but it was very clean and bright!!

I love the flags and love the options. I had a great GF cold rice noodle and tofu dish at the Thai restaurant.

There’s cooking food and then there’s cooking food with love. I found a gem that will take your tastebuds to the galaxy. A place that’ll have you returning for more. I highly recommend Erma’s Island for all to experience and enjoy. Food was consumed prior to a photo taken, but trust me it was elegant and delicious. The plated food presentation was enough to know the meal was going to be great. Great is an understatement about how good it was. Will definitely be returning for more.

Pretty fun. Too expensive though. Kind of reminds me of the city.
