hands down the best sweet potato fries i’ve ever had. the dipping sauce that comes with them is immaculate. everything is so fresh and delicious. it’s a hidden gem. every time i order it’s always 100% correct and quick with a sweet little message on the bag. i appreciate little touches like that. awesome business, awesome staff, awesome food. i cannot say enough good things about this place.

Salt City Soup Co. was a little hard to get to because they're located in a business gallery and I assume mostly serve the people who work in said gallery. I am not going to lie, the atmosphere of the entire gallery was a little off putting, a total liminal space.Aside from that the staff was incredibly courteous. The food was fresh, delicious, and most important it was real food. I had been eating so much junk food and needed something reap and nutritious and their food hit the spot. With their name you would think they would have a huge selection of soup but they only had two available. They rotate through new soups all the time. I got cream of mushroom and it was a cut above. Very high quality and absolutely delicious. If you want something both delicious and nutritious it's worth the liminal space freak out and the drive.

Hidden on the first floor in an office building you find this gem! It was snowing and wanted some warm soup. I ended up having their #3 sandwich which was a delicious take on a French dip but not. Blown away by the first bite. Their stretch bread was fresh and not too heavy. I also got a bowl of their chili and it did not disappoint! I also highly recommend their pickles!

Found this hidden gem on Yelp. It's truly hidden in an office park. Very little signage because of management rules but, like a prize at the end of a treasure map, we'll worth the hunt. Go into the building numbered 301 and it's right in front of you. So glad we did soup was amazing, as promised. And the sandwich was absolutely delicious! Wonderful place for a comfort lunch

These folks are the nicest, most sincere people! They serve great food and we're genuinely happy to be at an event I was organizing the food for and it really showed. Food was hot, sandwiches were tasty and they were willing to customize for allergens so that was awesome.

I tried Salt City Soup for the first time a few weeks ago when my boyfriend surprised me with a fooddelivery. It was FANTASTIC. The soup was a roasted red pepper bisque (I think) and the sandwich was a special I believe. Both were ridiculously good. Today I ordered tomato soup and the grilled cheese on sourdough. They knocked it out of the park again. I ordered through Grubhub and I don't know if they do their own deliveries or if the driver was just on their game. But it said it was going to take 45 minutes and from time of order to delivery was less than 20.I was in desperate need of some comfort food today and this absolutely hit the spot.

So delicious! Wish I lived in NY to eat here more often. The tomato basil & Gouda soup and the sandwich special was delish.

Really good!! A little pricey in my opinion but the ingredients seem to be nice quality. Lots of selections, I had a hard time choosing! The Mac salad was yummy. Not all gross and mayonnaise-y and not sweet.

Food is great for lunches but it doesn't come out quick. The place is like a mini cafe, so don't bring a crowd. The place might be hard to find too. Look for signs or people walking nearby for directions.Dietary restrictions: They're pretty good about nut allergies. The soups are made with onion bases so be wary of that if allergic to onions.

First time eating was great. I feel like it's a hidden gem being tucked away inside an office building. I can't recommend this place enough. The food is delicious and fresh. The staff are very friendly and are amazing at preparing the food.

Fantastic! Highly recommend Salt City Soup Co. It's worth a few minutes off of Interstate 90 near Syracuse. The restaurant is in a building in an industrial park. There were signs to confirm we were going the correct way by GPS. I had the potato leek soup to start and it was fabulous. The best ever!!My husband and I both selected #5 Turkey Bacon Gouda spinach sandwich with rosemary Mayo. He had "every morning baked fresh stretch bread"which he loved. I am gluten-free because of celiac so I had their gluten free bread which was perfect. It's so hard to find a great gluten free bread. The chef came out to make sure we were satisfied with our meal. So nice! Our waitress was cheerful & helpful too. We both had a fantastic cup of coffee also. Highly recommend!!

Why are the places that are harder to find always so so good?! Roast beef sandwich was juicy and flavorful, chicken sandwich was tender and fresh, the sweet potato fries here are absolutely unreal and they come with this maple dipping sauce that changes the flavor entirely into some sort of french toast/sweet potato fry amalgamation(please try these!) Regular french fries were cooked perfectly as well. Order was correct and on time. Portion sizes were perfect. Was a little difficult to find the building but still giving 5 stars because WOW that was probably one of the best lunches I’ve ever had. Usually would add photos but was too excited to dig in!

I had the turkey and bacon with rosemary mayo, it was delicious. My colleague had the butternut squash soup and really liked it as well. Highly recommend.

On a business trip we found this via Google. When we got to the location we thought we must be on the wrong area as it is a business park. We went into the office building and found the restaurant on the first floor.Food selection was somewhat small however it all sounded fantastic. When we got the soups and sandwiches they were really, really good and tastey. An out of the way place for really great soup and sandwiches.

I am not a huge sandwich girl but weirdly wanted one for lunch and stumbled across this place. I ordered their turkey sandwich and soup of the day and loved it! It's a quant place that you have to follow the signs to get to but it is so worth the adventure. I will be coming here whenever I'm weirdly craving a sandwich!
