The building itself is fine. There are roaches in the building because it it's empty. It is colder than it should be. If it were occupied it would be fine. It is a shame it is unused more. I had a few people walk in looking for food which is what it is purpose it was made for.
When I was a SU student in the 80s the ground floor level of Kimmel housed the Jabberwocky, a pretty low cost University run bar/club, pretty popular as a first stop Friday Happy Hour.Bruce Springsteen played a gig here back in the E Street Shuffle era.
Decent food, but very convenient when you need something late at night. Good seating area and follows COVID guidelines
Good for late food but not for grocery shopping. I learned the hard way
Comfortable dorm for students
A lot of tech. The guys working there were pretty helpful. Hope I can spend more time in there. It's a grown up toy box
Good location for the serious students who just eat, sleep &study.

Food court at Kimmel hall has various options. Open for public. A lot if people don't know about this place. Give it a try. Pizza, donuts and Burger.

Staying up late and in need of some brain food? You'll find all sorts of snacks and drinks at our late-night food court that's open nightly.
They can make a good tofu stir fry before 9pm. The wraps are not too bad as long as they cook and season the tofu, which is optional.
Just avoid coming here for food. Come for haagen dazs
Don't get a quesadilla from Queso's. They just make a burrito and then cut it up into triangles.
We will forever miss you, sweet Taco Bell
