I wouldn't recommend even on a deal like Syracuse Restaurants Week. This was my first time there for lunch today and I hated it.

The garlic whip that comes with the chicken kebabs is THE BOMB. I graduated from SU ~6 years ago. And I still dream about it, and this place.

One of my worst delivery experiences ever - when the food finally came 2 hours later it was cold and just awful. I called 3 separate times to see where it was and every time I talked to someone different and they told me a different story about where my food was and where the driver was. Extremely disappointed I will never order again....

I was in town and I knew I had to come to Byblos while I visited Syracuse! This is a gem in downtown that's a bit hidden but totally worth eating here! While Byblos has expanded to two different locations that are more aesthetically better and bigger in Armory Square, I still prefer the original little hole in the wall! While the original location is tiny, the original chef/chef that came out on the Diners Drive ins, and Dives is the head chef there. Both the veggie and meat super platters come with generous portions big enough to share between both people. I tend to get this whenever I bring someone else with me. I love waiting for my food here because it is always fresh. The Middle Eastern pizzas are amazing as well, both the meat ones and the veggies are hot and the bread of the pizzas is thin and fresh. The fried sambouseks are also on a whole other level, they're like empanadas but seasoned differently, and they're delicious surprising pockets perfectly seasoned with meat and pine nuts. Byblos is one of this places I look forward eating at whenever I am in town.

The food is good. Like extremely authentic and just makes me remember how much I appreciate Mediterranean food: pitas, gyros, tzatziki, feta, spinach, etc. That being said, I feel like Byblos on Clinton always confuses me because I forget that it's more of a take out/pick up/delivery place. There's some seating, but the place is always rather vacant, undisturbed, and it just doesn't feel right to eat in--yet I always do because I forget about the previous eating options. Anyways, keep that in mind. I believe there is another location and that is probably more of dine in scene. But hey! Guy Fieri came here! I split a chicken gyro with my mom because I'm basic. Also, because we both weren't starving and we also had the spinach feta puff pastry appetizer. Okay, I apologize, it has a name it's just not coming to me at the moment. I always feel bad not relieving the names off the menu. The gyro was difficult to share, as one can imagine. It was a glorious mess, spilling chicken and tomatoes and chopped romaine all over the foil. However, it was just the dish to hit the spot. The spinach app wasn't as hot as I would have liked it, which sounds super picky, but it just felt like it was 3/4 cooked or left out too long. Oh! We also split the baklava. I freaking adore baklava--and they make it themselves! Ugh, those layers of phyllo, honey, walnuts, butter, pistachio, just scrumptious. You could eat 3 of them and they're so light, it's just a whiff of deliciousness.

Awful! I ordered 2 rotisserie chicken wraps- one of them had a bone in the chicken that I bit into and hurt my tooth! They only gave me a 50% refund... you really think I'm going to risk eating another bone in the second wrap?! Disgusting...

It was ok. My husband had a gyro which I tasted and it was really good however the falafel wrap was anything but inspiring, which really sucked cause I was really looking forward to it. No parking available so had to search for it, seating was ok really enjoyed the outside seating nothing fancy. Indoor was clean but dated. Good prices for the food.

This review has nothing to do with the taste or quality of the food but how long I had to wait. I got to the restaurant shortly after 11 and placed an order for a gyro wrap and Byblo bowl. I placed my order at 11:08 and had donuts from glazed and confused waiting (in the heat no less). It took 25 minutes for me to finally get my food!! My husband and I used to frequent this place often when he worked downtown and now I see why we haven't been back.

I don't know where the five stars reviews come from. I'd like to review the food but I never had any. They were out of what I ordered as an entree, chicken. How does a restaurant be out of an menu entree at 5pm? The person taking the orders at the register was beyond rude, way beyond. Couldn't be bothered to even look up. I had more to order beside the chicken they didn't have but left. I'm surprised this place is still in business. I work hard for my money and can certainly find a place that appreciates it. Edit to add. Not surprised to read it was on diners drive ins and dives. Dives. The owners call to be featured because they're a failing place and want the tv exposure. It could be the worst food in the world but spiky hair guy says it's great because that's his show.

Best Lebanese food in Syracuse Just like my "Tata" use to cook for us! A must go to place downtown!

Tried their chicken kabob wrap. well marinated, tender and moist. I could have asked for a spicy one. The homemade garlic sauce was in right proportion. A small place with few tables in first floor. The lady who took our order was very friendly and took care to explain to all our questions.

It was okey good and nice service. I don't mind coming back here and giving them another chance.

The food at Byblos is very good and I recommend it to everyone looking for authentic Greek food. My one complaint is that when you order takeout, it always takes 15-20 minutes longer than the time they tell you. I've ordered it 4 times now and each time it's the same way. Very annoying!
