I will acknowledge that it was busy pre local event. That said, we waited well over a half hour without staff stopping by and saying we will be with you as soon as we can. Shame on us for giving them a third chance.
Hotel is wonderful by the way. Even spent big bucks to have our Sons wedding there.

Cold food (nothing like cold potato skins, fried pickles, wings, Reuben and burgers), appetizers came out the same time the food did ( also cold) , inattentive waiter. We watched two tables walk out because they couldn't get a drink within 25 minutes of being seated. $125 bill for 3 people, could have been more if our waiter came to our table to get us more drinks. Asked the woman who brought us our food for more drinks but she only said "he will be right back" 15 minutes later he came back and said " heard you needed more drinks" , put in our drink order and came back with the wrong drinks (he obviously wasn't listening) Table across from us, a woman went to the bar and got her own drink. Highly disappointing. Not sure what the issue was but doubt we will go back. The fastest part of our time there was when an extremely rude woman came out to clear our table off...

One of my favorite Syracuse restaurants. We have been coming here for 3 years now, and I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed yet. Absolutely fantastic Irish Pub that excels in Irish food and great service. Bangers and Mash, Shepherds Pie, and a beer, absolutely fantastic. They never disappoint.

Corn beef and cabbage was disgusting. Hard as leather on one side almost like it was reheated in the microwave.
Insulated that the cook and waitress thought that was acceptable.

Too bad the food is awful. Great space. My Corned Beef and Cabbage came with carrots and potatoes. Corned Beef was a half inch thick and tough as rubber. The carrots weren't cooked. The potatoes were passable with the cabbage being the thing cooked as it should be. Needed a steak knife (not provided) to cut everything but the cabbage. When I politely told wait staff that the carrots were raw, the response was "I didn't cook them." I said I realized that was the case but perhaps my feedback should be shared with the kitchen. I wouldn't eat there again.

The food is overpriced. You get very little for what you pay for. The people are nice enough I suppose as long as you don’t question them about the lack of condiments or food. The food is just okay… if it were great… this wouldn’t be a problem.

The batter on the fish and chips was spongy. The fries were ok. Beer selection was decent. Bartender was friendly. It was fine for a hotel restaurant, but for the level of the hotel, I expected better.
