One of my favorite Syracuse restaurants. We have been coming here for 3 years now, and I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed yet. Absolutely fantastic Irish Pub that excels in Irish food and great service. Bangers and Mash, Shepherds Pie, and a beer, absolutely fantastic. They never disappoint.
The batter on the fish and chips was spongy. The fries were ok. Beer selection was decent. Bartender was friendly. It was fine for a hotel restaurant, but for the level of the hotel, I expected better.
I stayed at the downtown Marriott in Syracuse for work trip recently and visited the Shaughnessy Irish Pub. Lucky for me this was located on the ground floor of this fabulous hotel. I ventured out to area restaurants but kept coming back to Shaughnessy. The food was delicious, especially the red, white and blue salad and chicken Cesear sandwich. Their fresh hand breaded chicken tenders were also delicious. My coworker's favorite was the ruben. Nicole was behind the bar mixing...
