Came in here today on my lunch break and was greeted with a friendly smile and assistance from the cashier. I looked on the menu and was bummed out because I was in the mood for hawawshi but they didn’t have it. The man behind the counter gladly offered to make it for me, I was so elated. The hawawshi was absolutely delicious and took me back to the ones I had in Egypt 🇪🇬. If you want great food at a decent price with a friendly atmosphere and great music this is the place for you. I highly recommend it. 10 stars ✨

I hate to give this place a bad review because it's a small family run business, but I visited here a couple days ago and I was pretty disappointed with the food. It was just below my expectations. The biggest problem was they added some type of sweet dark colored sauce to almost every dish. It ruined the taste for us. I expected savory, but all the food ended up being covered in sweet thanks to the sauce. I even tried wiping off the sauce, but unfortunately the damage seemed to be done. For reference, this applied to the Kibbeh, Grape Leaves, and the Meat Pies. The Grape Leaves themselves were also very disappointing because they were refrigerator cold. I know if you buy them at supermarkets or other non-restaurants, they may come this way, but this is the first time I was given cold stuffed grape leaves from a restaurant. The cold plus the sweet sauce just made it inedible for me.
On the positive side, the Kafta Kabob with rice and garlic was good, and the kid handling the front seemed to be doing his best as well.
Overall, I probably won't be coming back here, but if I do, I'd definitely make sure they don't add the sauce, or maybe tell them to add it on the side instead.
Tasty enough, hearty meal, they having not small menu, and for that price you paid on, worth it💯

Guy at the cash register is disrespectful and said something under his breath when he messed up the order and had to do it again. We ordered food and 3 plates were missing and when we told him he said something under his breath again and seemed very irritated by his mistake.

This was the second time I was there for lunch. Did not disappoint. The falafel bowl was excellent, and you get your money’s worth. I had enough leftover, so that now I have for dinner too. Very nice staff. Reasonable prices for the portions served.
I highly recommend the place.

WOW! What a joyful discovery of uber-delicious food!! Everything on the menu is so delicious, even down to the pickled turnip sides! Friendly service w/ easy parking & yummy food - what's not to LOVE?! Shawarma Paradise is a welcome addition to the SYR restaurant scene.

This place is the real deal. I’ve been wanting to try them and finally did a couple of weeks ago. The taste of shawarma is authentic. It’s what you get on the streets of Amman, Syria and Palestine. As for the service , they made a mistake with our order which was no big deal but they insisted on starting a whole new one and never charged us for the first one which they also gave us. They are friendly, the place is clean and you can tell it’s a hard working family running a successful business, which is always great to see.
