I got the Fried Chicken sandwich with homefries. The fries were ok, the sandwich was not at all like the picture on the menu. It was like one small chicken tender on a big bun. $17 for an overpriced sandwich. Very disappointed

Fried chicken is my kryptonite and I looked forward to trying their berbere mustard version with two sides for $16. We were lucky it was a Friday and my husband ordered the catfish with two sides for $18. You get a HUGE amount of food for the money and it took about 15 minutes to get our freshly made order. Service was friendly, efficient, and helpful.
Catfish: It’s a 9/10. Could’ve been more flavorful, but had a great cornmeal texture and flaky moist fish within.
Berbere Mustard Chicken: Also lacked proper seasoning and was dry. 5/10
Mac & Cheese: 7/10 Unique and very edible.
Greens: 8/10 Needed seasoning, but very good with some additional salt. Not sure about the Parmesan on top….
Yams: Yum! 9/10 Best eaten as dessert
0 Dry and not worth eating.

We got the ribs and they were 20 dollars, it was terrible. They were extremely dry, excessively spiced with cumin. You could not taste the ribs at all. On top of that, the ribs were extremely small, like a quarter of a portion. The greens were terrible as well. Avoid this place until it improves the food. It’s terribly bad and expensive for what you get

They always have seasonal fruit.
Checkout was quick and easy.
The sauce on the chicken was great, but even with it, the chicken was so very dry, as was the bun.

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would. Every bite is rich with bold spices and steeped in the soulful warmth of the South. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We ordered bbq, catfish, greens, and mac and cheese. They even accommodated us by customizing a small cheese and tomato sandwich as requested. We had pineapple-lemonade to drink, delicious! Everything is reasonably priced. Shanicka and Shontae gave us excellent service. A big thanks to everyone!♥️

Great variety of choices, excellent food, and nice atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Stopped to eat on our way to Rochester, pleasantly surprised. You have to try the slamming yamms, and mac and cheese..

Every time I'm in the area, I always stop for food from SOULutions. They are very friendly when taking your order and the wait is never terrible. They have a great selection of sides and their fried catfish never misses.

Yup. Just call me basic. I went to a Soul Food/Southern BBQ and just got a burger. The rest of their menu really looked good, but I was craving a burger. Food came pretty quick, even though it was busy. The Red Double was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. The home fires (the side dish) had an excellent seasoning. Thank you!
