Cute small shop. Friendly employees. Lots of selections. Prices are a little high for me
People working there were nice, prices are a little steep but it's understandable nowadays. Would go back again.
What an incredible place! There's just so much variety of candies here! We got creme de menthe fudge, peanut butter cup fudge, dark chocolate and peanut butter potato chips, and chocolate peanut butter pretzels for gifts for my family, they went over SO well.
The fudge was a little creamy for the texture but it's flavors was so spot on and wasn't at all waxy like many candy shop fudges!
Absolutely will come back here!
Parking: Park from the front, not the side! It's a really bad slope to enter from

Very expensive, chocolate candy underwhelming and lacking, so much so that two people who tasted it threw it out. Oh, and bought gum I bought was most likely from 1975. The gum turned to powder when attempting to chew, and was completely devoid of the flavor it once had. Sweet On Chocolate is the place to go for outstanding chocolate and customer service. Some may like it, but NOT these chocolate lovers.

Omg this is one of my favorite places in the hole city to frequent. It is hands down the best candy shop in the area. Not only do they have a ton of options to choose from but they carry all of the rare candy's you really can't get your hands on anywhere. They are known for there chocolate covered potato chips for sure, but my all time favorite is definitely the cupids poo. Anytime we order anything from them it's always been very fresh. Also compared to the other candy places around Syracuse I feel there prices are very fair for not only the quality of the product but the quantity as well. Speechs is definitely a place I recommend people to stop by and visit with there kids.???

I have been coming to this shop for 3 years now for any occasion for which I can justify getting my wife chocolate covered strawberries. She has Celiac disease and had never had any issues with them. They are, by FAR, her favorite chocolate covered strawberries. And, the shop smells INCREDIBLE. Be careful. Just walking in is likely to make you spend money! But, it'll be worth it! The staff is super friendly. I can't recommend this candy shop more.
Dietary restrictions: Chocolate covered strawberries are gluten-free!

This is a very nice candy shop located right off of I-81 in Syracuse. The staff were friendly and helpful. I bought more items than shown here, but they were devoured before I could take a picture. Their maple peanut brittle is delicious. I love the texture as it is crunchy without being too hard. The handmade candy canes are delicious. There is a huge difference between these and your typical candy cane. I also bought sugar-free gummies, which tasted very good as well. The Some More Brickle was a nice treat. The chocolate was smooth and decadent ? Don't hesitate to support this small, local business.

My husband and I had the pleasure to make our 1st ever trip to the Speach Family Candy Shoppe in Syracuse today. We met the candyman and current president, Michael Speach, a few months ago. We didn’t know about this lovely generational business until meeting Michael. We have nothing but rave reviews for this place. The handmade chocolate I chose was absolutely delectable. Check out their website and visit them as well. You will love this place, too.

WOW!!!What an experience. This family owned maker of sweet treats since 1920 is a MUST STOP for anyone looking for old and new tasty confections. They make many of their own freeze dried candy, and chocolate covered EVERYTHING! They also have old time "penny candy" and some real favorites. A great small and necessary business of the soul!
