Beautiful modern Italian restaurant, had appetizers at the lively bar with friends, tried 6 or 7 apps all outstanding ,service was fun and attentive, lucky to have this hidden gem right outside of downtown

Lasagna was overdone and crusty. Chicken Francois was breaded heavily, my wife expected no breading, not what expected. Chicken Parmesan was breaded heavily and almost too much to cut through. Like the place and atmosphere but our table food experience was subpar. It's too bad, it turned us off from wanting to go back again.

I ordered an iceburg wedge, ribeye, and house cab (Kendall Jackson) at the bar. Everything was perfect. I ordered the steak medium rare plus and it was the best ribeye I've had anywhere in over a year. The iceburg wedge was huge and perfectly garnished. The steak came with asparagus and mashed potatoes which were amazing. This place greatly exceeded my expectations. We capped off the meal with an espresso.

We are a photobooth company and we did a Holiday party there for a business on December 13, 2025. From the time we arrived to the time we left the staff treated us like family, from helping us move our equipment in and out of the building , to making sure we had something to eat. Just WOW! Thank you to all the staff, we can't wait to see you again. Steve and Tammy.

Went Saturday. Everything was great.Oil and bread, manicotti spot on. The prime rib was great. Not fatty at all. Green beans cooked to perfection. But the absolute star was the mashed potatoes. Smooth, silky, with incredible flavor. Great job. Any chance I can get the recipe?????

We’ve been to Strada Mia a couple of times in the past 2 years and it was always decent. However after our experience this Saturday night we won’t be going back, as the food, service, and ambience were all lacking. Our server was very pleasant, but must have been inexperienced. She did not know the tap list and showed a pic of the beer taps on her phone which we had trouble seeing. She didn’t know the difference between a Cab and a Zin, thought a Cab was white, and then brought a white Zin without clarifying. Where was the wine list so that we could have specified what we wanted? Also the wine was served in stemless glasses which seems very tacky. The server also did not clear away empty greasy plates until we asked. The food was mediocre. The shrimp scampi was drowning in a soupy butter sauce with large chunks of garlic, and the shrimp were salad size and not very many of them. My friend’s clam sauce came with mini clams and also overly buttered and chucks of garlic. Finally, they have changed the lighting in the main dining room, and it felt like a cafeteria with weirdly bright LED lamps. A very disappointing night out!

We always loved the restaurant however last night we went they used a whole bottle of capers on the chicken dish and I couldn’t eat it. My heart started palpating and then we got the soup and that was no better. Definitely changed cooks or something. Unfortunately I will never go back to that restaurant I will be contacting the manager Tuesday morning

I worked in restaurants for 10+ years, both back of house and front of house. I would never leave a bad review unless it was 110% warranted. We dined in the bar area on Friday Sept 26, and we were a party of 6. Service was good, and drinks were fine. The restaurant had a pretty limited menu for Syracuse Family Weekend. This was fine, as that was our reason for being in town, and everyone found something to order. The problem was the food.

Two of us ordered filet mignon, medium and medium rare. Mine was the blandest, most flavorless steak I have ever eaten. My daughter said the same. The color was correct for medium rare, perhaps a little under-done, but the steak was completely DRY. For $50 per filet, I expect perfection, not something that tastes like they bought it from a 7-11 (if 7-11 sold steak).

We also had two orders of gnocchi, which was unimpressive, at best. Sauce tasted like a jar of Ragu. The salmon itself was apparently fine, but the spinach and sauce it was served with tasted and looked like it was cooked a week before and left to turn to mush.

The restaurant wasn't even that busy - seemed ridiculous to have a limited menu. The purpose of a limited menu on a busy weekend is so that food quality is preserved to the restaurant's standards. I guess Strada Mia's standards are really, really low. We will not be returning.

Terrible experience. Waited 20 minutes for a server, table wasn’t set, and they ran out of glasses. Food took 80 minutes to arrive and was awful. Won’t be coming back.

I was disappointed in the quality of the food. Too salty, poorly presented, cold. All 4 of us disliked our meals. At this price point I expect a better value and was quite disappointed

Service was great! We were greeted several times throughout our dining experience and our server Eliana was very friendly and attentive, and had great recommendations!

Awful, would never go back. Food was terrible. Like boxed pasta drenched in butter. Normal menu was unavailable, for non meat eaters, they literally had nothing available on their special menu for this weekend. Didn't bother to let us know in advance. Manager was 100% unapologetic and would not offer any accommodations. Waitress really tried, but food was seriously lousy. They also sat us in bar instead of dining room per our reservations. Told others about the experience, they said the restaurant is basically chef boyardee food! So true. I'm ashamed we spent money here. I would absolutely avoid.

Very disappointing. The online menu was incorrect - many fewer choices. Food was not hot, steak came out undercooked. Seemed to be short-handed in that service was slow, especially in the beginning.

Our second time having dinner and the food did not disappoint! When we visit our son at Syracuse, we will make this a regular dinner stop! Our server was wonderful!
