The waitress was inexperienced, I think. We had a party of 2 but she left a 4 place setting on the table, not even removing the extra dishes when there was obviously no room when the food arrived . The main course was served without removing the appetizer plates. The food was satisfactory, nothing to rave about.

Started with waiting for our waitress for over 15 min after we were seated. Once she took our drink order we had to go to the bar to actually pick up our drinks ourselves because she disappeared. We ordered food and asked for our Salads to come as the appetizers and instead the dinner and salads showed up at the same time. Finally, Food was mediocre at best. Could not be more disappointed. Restaurant was fairly empty at 7:45 on a Saturday and it seems clear why.

Strada Mia Always has the best food and wonderful staff. This is my favorite restaurant to go to anytime Im in syracuse. Their Chicken Parm is to die for! Cannot recommend highly enough.

The service was amazing. I came here several months ago and ordered the New York Strip. It was served on a cast iron pan thinly sliced and was one of the best steaks I have ever had. (I am a steak connoisseur). The second experience was totally different. I ordered the same exact thing. When it arrived I noticed a bone and completely different looking cut of meat (ribeye) I kindly asked the waitress if I could get what I ordered. When she returned she told me the chef told her that it is a New York Strip just with a bone. I said alright I’ll just give it a shot… and as I cut in to it it was so tough and unevenly cooked. I was later told a new chef was brought in. This chef clearly does not know his steaks…. Very upsetting experience.I’d the rib-eye had been of good quality and cooked well I would have zero complaints. It genuinely tasted like it was from Walmart and cooked over a bonfire.I would have stayed home and made my own steak if I knew this would be the case.

Out waitress did a very poor job. We had to remind her to get our wine. We waited a long time for our main course and the pasta arrived cold. We did not send it back because we didn't want to wait another 1/2 hour. We watched the same waitress make a nearby table wait at least 15 minutes to get a piece of cheesecake delivered. This is a good restaurant, but the service made our evening very unpleasant. We hope that our next experience at Stada Mia will match the good meals we have had there before this unfortunate visit.

This was one of the worst dinning experiences. I made reservations for girlfriend‘s birthday after 25 minutes no water no waiter. No, nothing no one showed up. I had to go to the bar to get a drink menu and order out drinks.we had to ask the hostess to bring us water. There was several other table seated after us that got service and food before us. The waiters and waitresses seem to focus on tables of big parties for more tips. We never had a waiter waitress. No staff said sorry for the wait will be with you in a little while.. they told us they were short staffed. Another waitress joined them eventually after waiting a long time the hostess took our order she finally apologized. The food was OK. My portion was smaller than a kids meal. The atmosphere was OK but it was my girlfriend's birthday. She was in tears for so waiting long.we booked the 630 reservation had plans at 8 o'clock. We didn't get out of there till just before 9 o'clock. If they're so shortstaffed, I don't understand why they told us they had a reservation. They should've been upfront on us and considerate.

As a 2nd generation Italian American, who continues to cook family recipes, I found out dinner at Strada Mia to be extremely delicious. The seasoning was spot on. The cutlets were the correct thickness (tender & flavorable). Big thumbs up for their food & wonderful staff????

We had a last minute diner join us , and they were very accommodating. Our party of 5 now, shared 2 apps, shrimp cocktail and clams casino. We also shared a chopped salad and a Ceasars salad. All were fresh and flavorful. Entrees were veal, so tender you didn't need a knife, pasta bolognese, chicken marsala, and pasta Alfredo with chicken. All were delicious and liked by all. Portions were generous. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this upscale, yet comfortable restaurant even if its in an out of the way area

I have mixed opinions about this restaurant. We went on Valentine's Day, and they were so full we had to make a reservation for 4:30. No issue there, we'll have an early dinner. The dining room was clean, mostly quiet (soft pop music playing, a few kids,) dimly lit, and the bathroom was spotless and smelled fresh. Right after being seated we were met by our server, Chealsi. She was fantastic, everything I'd ask for in a waitress, kind, attentive, knowledgeable of the menu, and very polite to me and my lady. One issue I took was the first item I ordered, a caprese salad, was unavailable. This was unfortunate, as it was the only salad I really cared for on the menu, and going so early in the day I'd expect them to be fully stocked especially on such a big night. I substituted, and we ordered salads and a fried calamari appetizer, both were fantastic. When ordering our main course, I asked if they could make a dish of carbonara, and our server replied that she would usually be fine with special requests, but as the head chef had a big night ahead of him, she'd rather not bother him with any. That again, was unfortunate, and again for such a big night I'd expect them to be willing to honor such requests as Valentine's Day is one of the biggest nights to make repeat customers. Regardless, my main course was a delicious shrimp and scallop pomodoro with a side of risotto. My lady ordered a linguine clam sauce pasta bowl, and we were both impressed. After our main course we ordered two virgin cocktails (both me and my lady are sober) and they were delicious. Dessert was cannoli and espresso, again delicious. Leftovers were boxed for us (LOVE this) and tied in a paper bag (extra points for not using plastic.) They had a box of chocolates and a rose for my lady, and the server thanked us for coming and wished us a happy Valentine's.

Always a pleasure and wonderful experience when I get to taste the food at Strada Mia. Whenever I have friends in town, I make sure to bring them here. Never disappointed. Pasta is fresh, sauces are yummy, and the service is great.
