Don’t bother with this pizza joint. They REFUSE to deliver to your door. Even with a great tip, they will not deliver to an apartment without forcing the customer to run up/down stairs when you are paying for good service. Back to the other shops in the area who have no problem with service to your door and also take part in the spirit of community. Done.

I called to order nobody answered during business hours they called me back 10 minutes later apologizing about not answering because they were training I asked if they delivered to nob hill she told me yes I call back with my order and she proceeded to tell me they don’t deliver up here because it’s to far when she just told me that they do and that they was looking forward to me calling back

The absolute best pizza in Central New York. It upsets me that more people don't know about this place. They use a decades (or more) old oven, which I *swear* helps with the flavor. Cooks are lovely. And it's the only place around to get actually good deep dish. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and in this case the quality is bar none. Side note: I work in a restaurant and from what I saw from the front the kitchen here is absolutely spotless. Like, no grease on the floor. I don't know how. Really amazing.
We ordered delivery for an event and I was surprised at how good the pizza was considering I walk by here every week and didn't even know the place was open! But yes the pizza was very well cooked and tasted great and I would recommend them.

I am very pleased that I recently discovered for myself this small restaurant, which is definitely not a chain. Where as the chain pizza places like Pizza Hut seem to measure every ounce of cheese when you asked for extra cheese, the Tangy Tomato make the pizza with pride. They have a very nice selection of toppings and both New York style and Chicago deep dish pizza. The staff are friendly and obviously dedicated to their craft. I highly recommend this Hidden Gem in Upstate New York.

I have ordered through slice for tangy tomato several times. The pizza is not terrible but the service was horrible the last couple of times. The last time in particular I placed an order for a sheet pizza ahead of time because it said they were open. My card was charged but come time for the pizza to be delivered... no pizza. Slice couldn't even get ahold of them. They weren't open. This pizza was for a gathering and now I had no pizza. I feel like tangy tomato is unreliable. And I definitely suggest to not order ahead.

I just love everything that I get from here. The crust, to sauce, to topping ratio is perfect. Great chew to the crust, and the sauce is subtle and delicious. Highly recommend!!
