Why Was the Parking Lot Full!? Someone must like this place. Our experience.....we arrived with a reservation when they opened at 5. We were seated at the worst table imaginable when there were many other good tables. We were politely reseated upon request. The roasted Brussel sprouts appetizer was very good and generous. It went downhill from there. We ordered a pork chop special (with grits & green beans) and the blackened shrimp (with grits). The pork chop was tough and flavorless ( no glaze or sauce) and barely done. The grits were like paste and equally without flavor. The green beans were way undercooked and tough and came with their own dental floss, the tough string along the spine of each bean. The shrimp were colossal and by that I mean colossally tough. We ran out of water in the middle of the meal and were not offered more. An ounce and a half of bar bourbon on the rocks was $12. The tab before tip was $129 for the two of us.
Deciding to dine with two other couples last night my husband and I recommended the Cider Mill. Friendly hostess, knowledgeable server and delicious food. After waiting for drinks and appetizer bread long after ordered we finally were asked to order our meals. One hour after arriving we were at last served dinner. Enjoying our meal and after dinner conversation we were presented with our checks . As soon as we paid, a woman came to the table and cleared remaining dishes saying another party was waiting for our table. I felt insulted for this brushing us off so abruptly. For high end dining so rude. I will never return to this place to spend my hard earned retirement money.

This is the 2nd time I've been to The Cider Mill since having a very restricted diet for my breastfed baby and they were beyond accommodating both times. Our server went back to the kitchen multiple times to figure out what I could have and to check ingredients and ensure my meal was free of dairy, soy and eggs When she brought us bread and the tomato dipping sauce she had already verified that I could eat both and when there wasn't really a safe dessert (& they knew it was my birthday) she came out with a coconut whip and a candle (which was actually a perfect little light and delicious dessert). Above and beyond and so thoughtful. Apart from my allergy situation they just have delicious food and drinks and the staff is also more than kind. When my husband and I brought our 8 week old baby to eat outside, the general manager/hostess came to our car to ask if we needed help carrying anything. We have felt so cared for each visit which is just a huge bonus to the yummy food! 🩵
Our family celebrated Easter yesterday at the Cider Mill. EVERYTHING was delicious. Appetizers, entrees and deserts were incredible. The service was outstanding. Very grateful that they had a holiday service. As always, this restaurant is one of the best in the area and will remain one of our favorites. Much gratitude!!!!!!
Family birthday dinner with 11 people included exceptional service, excellent food and a candled dessert surprise for the birthday girl. From beer selection, appetizers, entries and salads - everything was delicious. Would highly recommend this unique menu.
I was told that we would be charged $25 per person if we cancelled the reservation. While I understand that businesses need to protect themselves from potential losses, I feel that it is absolutely excessive and beyond, particularly for customers with a valid or serious reason for cancelling. I will no longer be eating here for this reason and will not refer my family and friends in he future.
Sweet place. Incredible service. Food not great. Very expensive for what we had. Meal for two with one appetizer, salad was extra entree and dessert with tip-$165.00. Too much.

An incredible dinner tonight! The bartenders Cat and Pat were on point, and the food was next level. Appreciated the opportunity to meet the owner Dan and express our gratitude for a wonderful dining experience. And he sent us home with some fresh sourdough bread. We will definitely be back.

Reservation for 515, Sat by 516, no one even asked us if we wanted a drink by 530. No water at the table, and many empty tables. We walked out.

The food is always excellent - we came here with a large party after our wedding and the service was flawless! Olivia was a pleasure to work with and was extremely accommodating for our group. Would highly recommend for any large event!
