I was sadden that this previous occupants of this space had closed. This lovely space within the building that houses the Palace Theatre, in the center of the Eastwood business and office district, seems fitted for a successful small coffee shop. So I was over erjoyed a few years ago when other entrepreneurs ventured to give it a try at serving the Eastwood Community with their specialty coffee house. The business seems to be going strong, having expanded their hours a few months back.I like the place. It shows that Eastwood is a place where hipsters can hang out. It is also a good stop if you live in Eastwood and are taking advantage of living in a walkable urban neighborhood.Vegetarian options: There are a number of vegan bake goods available.Dietary restrictions: They have non-dairy options for coffee based drinks.Parking: Saturday and Sunday street parking is free (unofficial on Saturdays). The parking lot behind the building has plenty of parking when there isn't an event at the theatre. But if you live in Eastwood, why not take a walk and leave the car at home.

INCREDIBLE - people, coffee, goods, and place !We go to all the coffee houses and this is the best little coffee house in all of central NY. Staff are happy and bright and this is infectious. Coffees have many options, very smooth and flavory, food and ambiance Incredible. It is a must go place like Heid's or Dinosaur - for cool coffee place people.

EXCELLENT experience at Cracked Bean. Locally owned, locally roasted coffee will beat chain store coffee any day. Everything was either made on premises or sourced from another local business. Coffees and food were AWESOME. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Pretty good coffee and a comfortable space to sit -- can recommend the quiche.
First time going here. Had some lattes, pastries and a cup of soup between us. Everything tasted so good we ended up sharing pretty much everything. Brought the pup and was greeted and loved by all. Shop had high ceilings, various artsy decor from what looked like local artists as well as a few games, puzzle sand magazines. Comfy couch and chairs were a nice touch, too!

This small Cafe is a local gem! Amazing coffee and small bites are delicious, as well. Owner, Michelle, took time to chat with us and explain their coffee options

The Coffee is very good and I would recommend to anyone. The food is also very good. One complaint is the food Menu is very disorganized and because of that it is hard to find what you are looking for.

Finally got a chance to stop by after living nearby for 3 years and I can safely say this will be a regular cafe for me now! It's the perfect space to get some work done. Music isn't too loud, people are quiet, and there's a few different seating options. The food & drinks are just as good. If you are a tea drinker I have to recommend the London Fog Latte. I was in heaven drinking it! I was eyeing their macarons and might be snagging a few the next time I come in...
The lentil soup was amazing!
