We stopped in on the Saturday of St.Patricks Day weekend. Ordered drinks and an appetizer. One of our drinks came and we waited 15 minutes for the other drink. While we were there the most tables that were occupied was maybe six. We then waited another 30 minutes for our poutine order. At that point we decided not to order dinner. We were shocked at our bill when we saw a $20 charge for an old-fashioned. Happy we only ordered one.We have been to five star restaurants and never have been charged $20 for this drink, even when made with the best bourbon whiskey.

Great spot. Bartender was good, not great. I'm not a needy person. But I do enjoy being acknowledged when I sit down. Being two of the eight people sitting at a bar with probably twelve seats, it's not hard to spot the two new people. Beer was great, as well as the atmosphere. I'll be back

Went as a group of 4 to sample beer and have some appetizers. Ordered the pretzels and nachos... they gave us 2 lousy pretzels for $15 (the dipping sauces are extra) and a plate of like 20 nachos for over $18. Incredibly disappointing portions which they don't disclose on the menu. We assumed there would be a pretzel for each of us at least, and a much more reasonable serving of nachos. The beers were alright, but they don't even offer a discount for flights and the paddles they did have were slopping wet. If we ever come back it will only be for the beer.

We stopped in for late afternoon drinks on Christmas Eve. We passed so many establishments that were closed we were happy to find an open door with many patrons inside! They are sporting a vast selection of Beers, plus full bar. We enjoyed a variety amongst the four of us between a beer, rose wine for me, martini, and whiskey sours. Was a nice place chat and catch up pre dinner, reminiscent of earlier years at the former PJ Dorsey’s. Friendly enough service with a touch of rye. We had just visited Clayton recently, I’ve included a couple of snap shots of Hop Spot currently closed for season. Someone is peeking out the third story! Love to visit the Clayton location in season, great architecture!

$38 will get you two pretzel sticks and 5 mini pierogies. Not worth the cost at all, as you can see, all the food fit on one small salad plate. The atmosphere is nice, but the food is not worth the price and there is no mention of portion sizes when you order online. The beer cheese is lumpy and curdled, and the beer mustard I paid $1.50 is just normal yellow mustard. The bacon jam that comes with the pierogies had chunks of white, cold fat.

I went in here. Felt very uncomfortable. I wasn't welcomed. I left my whole beer I. There to get out because I almost felt threatened. Don't cone here.

I've been here a few times, and the food is really good! The last time I got the "shake that honey maker" which was awesome and filled me up for literally the entire day. I wish it was a little spicier, but it was worth it in the end.

I've had this place bookmarked for places I've wanted to try. Well I was in town and decided to finally check it out. The place is huge. There is a game room in the back with its own bar.

We sat down and ordered. Service was great and the place was packed. My "hallway with a wrench" chicken sandwich was amazing. Prices were good. Parking is tricky, but it's Armory Square so it's to be expected

Parking: Don't be afraid to park and walk a few blocks

Staff was super friendly and helpful. The fries in the poutine were a bit soggy, but the flavor was on point. The burgers were wonderful! I got the "Have we got a Poblano?" and my wife got the "Bacon care of business" burger. Both were cleverly named (definitely gave off Bobs Burgers vibes) and, again, tasted great!
