Where do I even begin? I've been to the Ice Cream Stand many times since it is one of my favorite go to spot in Syracuse for ice cream. OR should I say it 'was'. Yesterday I brought family friends including kids total of 11 of people. I get that it could have been hectic with multiple orders, but I received one of the worst customer services ever from the place. Story goes like this. So for one of the orders, I asked for a 'vanilla' and ended up getting a soft vanilla. I clarified that I asked for a hard vanilla. Response that came back was no you ordered vanilla and not a vegan vanilla which is a hard ice cream. I was treated as though I was such an ignorant person not knowing the difference. Instead of getting me a 'hard' vanilla as an exchange, basically I was reminded several times that that was my mistake and I actually had to get another hard 'vegan' vanilla this time and pay for it. Well, it didn't stop there. We ordered another 'small' coconut along with a small peanut chocolate. When comparing the scoop size, small coconut seems much smaller comparing to small peanut choncolate and almost kitty size. When asked why, the staff who helped with scooping the ice cream said we ran out of the coconut ice cream. Shouldn't I have been told about it in advance and at least be changed for kitty size? They charged me a full price for a small scoop size and gave me a kitty size? When I asked how she would fix that, she whispered to the store manager which seemed like they both discussed the matter. I waited for about a min standing there expecting to be told how they would address the matter, instead I was completely ignored. I didn't want to turn this into a fiasco with all our family members/friends and ruin our afternoon so ended up leaving but it was not a pleasant experience at all. Plus the ice cream quality wasn't as good as it used to be. So sorry Ice Cream Stand, you will have to step up your game before I come back for the next scoop of ice cream. As a huge fan of your place in the past, this was very disappointing experience for me. It seems like staff needs to be trained for better customer services. Note that I still left 15% tip for the service that I received. Banking for the future.

The only sad thing about this place is they only open Thur-Sunday and i like my ice cream throughout the week but i guess they're helping me keep my weight haha.I had their soft serve ice cream and Wine ice scream (21+).Their soft serve is creamy and smooth. Better than DQ, McD or Chick-fila ice dream. Their Wine ice cream is light and delicious. I recommend for ages 21+ to appreciate the flavor and texture. This place makes different flavors and you better come quick because the popular flavors disappear fast.

Went on Sunday evening and they were sold out of everything. Only 5 flavors of hard ice cream and most flavors were not appetizing (I tasted thhe raspberry wine flavor and it was not good). I ended up having to order soft serve flurries due to lack of options (they were sold out of ice cream sandwiches and all cones as well). The soft serve was really grainy and they did not fill our cups all of the way which was ridiculous for the price ($28 for 4 small ice creams). They also did not have prices posted anywhere. I expected it to be less given the size.

Really good place. The ice cream was really good and reasonable prices loved it. I tried dutch chocolate and mint chocolate chip both were really good. Definitely recommend.

The ice cream was good and the staff is nice, but with so many other ice cream options in the area within 10 minutes from Syracuse it’s a bit hard to recommend at 20-30% more than other options in the area.I didn’t see any prices listed and might not have ordered if I’d seen them since I had about 4-5 other options on the drive home to hit up. I got a medium chocolate soft serve with chocolate sprinkles and it came to around $6.40ish. At most places that would come to somewhere in the $4 to $5 range. I could see family/group orders being much higher here vs other options.

As soon as I opened the door, I was met with the sweet smell of waffle cones being made and wow, was it enticing.I went with my usual soft-serve chocolate ice cream on a cone with some rainbow sprinkles, which was as usual, delectable. Going to try some more of their sorbet next time!This place is close to my home, so it's the perfect spot to go to after dinner in the warmer months. I wish it was open more often!Stop by and support local business.

What yummy ice cream!! This was such a nice treat yesterday with the warm weather. This is a very cute space in the heart of Clinton Square with lots of gluten free and regular options available! High quality ice cream, great service and awesome fun! This would be great for date night, fun for kids or nice friends outing!
